July 16Jul 16 I noticed there are so many guilds now without active players, would be cool to have a way to purchase the guild or claim the names of Inactive ones. For example I lost the guild RedDragon to inactivity at the time, and another player claimed it and kicked most people years ago and hasn't been on since, It would be awesome to have the chance to get it back or claim the name with a new guild.
July 16Jul 16 Touchy topic, ngl. Many have seen their guilds being lost due to inactivity and reclaiming it has always been a problem; this isn't the first topic of this kind I see. The very point of this measure was to assure the guild would keep its activity, but obviously it didn't work as expected. Do you have anything in your mind of how one could retrieve the guild back?

Do you have anything in your mind of how one could retrieve the guild back?I agree it is definitely a tough one to figure out. Options to consider could be some form of bidding system but that itself could be problematic. What I would perhaps suggest the most is maybe the ability to join the guild openly rather than wait for an invite from a player that hasn't been on in 10 years. That could then restart the process for guild lead or a higher rank to pass after X amount of time? I think a system where players can request/join a queue to join larger or more active guilds (such as magna in EU) could be beneficial to help with waiting times for popular guilds. The request to join feature could then be bypassed by guilds that haven't had any activity for a certain amount of time.I also understand this could cause friction with people who have their own "Bank" guilds they use for storage, but this ultimately wouldn't be the biggest problem so long as they're active. It's such a tough aspect to consider, but at the end of the day I just want my old guild back xD 🤣
