June 5Jun 5 At the moment, the class combines too many strengths at once. The Barbarian has extremely high survivability, strong crowd control, and high damage output, while remaining highly effective even when using a two-handed weapon. Normally, choosing a two-handed weapon means sacrificing part of your defense in exchange for more damage, but in the Barbarian's case that trade-off barely seems to exist. The bleeding mechanics are another major concern. The Barbarian can apply Bleeding through multiple sources. Abilities and talents such as Bloodletting and Spiked Armor allow the class to keep Bleeding effects active almost constantly. On top of that, Spiked Armor punishes enemies simply for attacking the Barbarian. Even ranged classes can receive Bleeding just for dealing damage from a safe distance. What is the logic behind punishing a player simply for attacking? In addition, the class has Last Wish, a passive ability that significantly increases survivability when health becomes low. Combined with Vampirism, resistance to crowd control effects, and the benefits provided by the Bull branch, the Barbarian becomes extremely difficult to kill or control. Many players try to explain the Barbarian's strength as being solely the result of player skill or equipment quality. However, the issue appears to go much deeper than that. When a class simultaneously has massive survivability, high damage, strong control, Bleeding effects, resistance to crowd control, and multiple defensive mechanics, the discussion is no longer just about player skill—it is about a class with an exceptionally powerful toolkit. The result is a class that can tank, control, and deal significant damage all at the same time. While other classes must usually sacrifice one aspect to excel in another, the Barbarian seems to have access to everything at once. This raises a simple question: is there any other class in the game that combines this level of survivability, damage, crowd control, and defensive utility all at the same time? If so, then what exactly is the Barbarian's real weakness? VID-20260404-WA0128.mp4

Mage can be tanky even with cloth items, maybe you didnt know about this? Okay, since we're talking about comparison, let's look at the data. The barbarian has damage reductions because it's a tank class, and even if it doesn't improve these abilities, it would already achieve a 45% reduction in damage received. And when using Berserker, the damage is increased by 20%. The mage has no damage reduction, and its only defense is the barrier, which, when focused on damage, a mage doesn't improve, thus losing a large part of its defensive capacity. Therefore, while a barbarian receives 45% less damage and inflicts an area bleed that can stack up to 4x on the same target, being 20% of its damage in a PASSIVE way, the mage deals 37% of its magic damage with the aura, being able to hit up to 10 monsters, and its defense, which is the barrier, is only activated when receiving damage greater than 20% of its life, and it only stays active for 0.3 seconds and returns after 4 seconds. During this time, the mage is vulnerable to everything, while a barbarian is not. So it's not fair to compare those two. Not even a paladin focused on defense has the survivability of a barbarian. 2026-06-0708-33-52.mp4.e7270db074351fb0b02ef5bcb92fbefe.mp4

The last wish skill which gives them a really great boost on survivability while maintaining TONS of damage. I think that class took his role being "Tank" as a literal meaning. A full steel-tungsten plated armor that fires Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot left and right. You deffended it because you enjoyed it. It's interesting how you say we didn't analyze the characters' abilities to try and defend how broken the barbarian is. Of course, I checked all the ability parameters, but if you analyze all the negative effects of the barbarian, they are insignificant when compared to the positive effects. The barbarian in your video isn't focused on defense. Just using a shield doesn't mean you're focused on defense; if it worked that way, enchanters would be tanks. But anyway, the barbarian in your video isn't +10 and doesn't even have 10% parry. While the Paladin in my video is +10, uses heavy equipment, and has a library of 17 classless books. Including the books: Physical Reinforcement, Magical Reinforcement, and Power of Life. Even with all those books, the "mediocre" barbarian in your video still resisted even more than my Paladin. If you pay attention, the Barbarian receives 0 damage. The combined damage from these mobs is equivalent to about 14,000 damage points, and the barbarian simply receives 0! Do I even need to say anything? Does a barbarian ignoring that much damage seem normal to you? Paladins don't use vampirism. They rely on their healing abilities. Surely, if this barbarian were using the Almahad mages' guild, he would become immortal.

The dev has designed paladin to be mediocre at tanking, support and damage. If you build tank then pala lose heal. If you build support then pala lose tankiness. If you build damage for pala then you lose both tankiness and support with mediocre damage. The current pve meta doesn't favor paladin in endgame content.

Perhaps there will be limit on mage talent on next rebalance, but other than that, I don't see a problem (this is the only cause why he is able to afk😉)

But if 1 people can do it, it means all can (the potential to be broken is there!). That way barbarians can still deal damage but lost some of its tanky attributes. Or going pure tank role. This suggestion is the best for balancing the game. But you dont like yoyr character nerfed haha. That suggestion im stating will keep barbarians at its original strength if he uses shield (which is pretty strong already but not to a point that its broken). And nerfed it when using 2 handed. Back to its tank role. Edited June 12Jun 12 by Jollier

It is not about potential, we could say on same logic you could be unbeatable if you got T5 books. 22 minutes ago, Jollier said: This suggestion is the best for balancing the game. Back to its tank role. Barbarian does lose pretty much on 2h defence compared to shield, in fact, using shield is almost only option to stay alive versus mages rangers. As you might imagine, I say again: barb cant be good tank and good dmg dealer at once, it is a choice between them

They doesnt bring a single shiled user just barb with 2h + shaman. They need to be nerfed in their 2h, if they want to be damager make them weaker in deffence. 25 minutes ago, Bromancé said: It is not about potential, we could say on same logic you could be unbeatable if you got T5 books. June 12Jun 12 You keep deffending it because of your conflinct of interest. Since you plays barbarians.

Shield and mace is just low damage and tanky, which doesnt play much role on catacomb matches. The defence in 2 handed is weak, you are just not seeing it. Also block is disabled on 2h. The combined damage from these mobs is equivalent to about 14,000 damage points, and the barbarian simply receives 0! Do I even need to say anything? Does a barbarian ignoring that much damage seem normal to you? If skill happens once in 50-70 seconds and on maxed character and 4/4 skill, yeah I would call it normal. Paladin shield doesnt make you receive 0 dmg? On 6/9/2026 at 5:56 PM, FIRMIANO said: But anyway, the barbarian in your video isn't +10 and doesn't even have 10% parry Full +10, barbarians doesnt need parry, they prefer block. On 6/9/2026 at 5:56 PM, FIRMIANO said: Even with all those books, the "mediocre" barbarian in your video still resisted even more than my Paladin. Maybe because I got more defensive books than you, basical physical and magic defence, all vamp ones, Power of life and so on. If you call someone "mediocre" it would be you on this comparison
