Saicreed - US(Sapphire) - A Beginner's Eye Opener - Gameplay Guide

Greetings everyone, especially to the new comers!

I am ♥Saicreed♥, a player who has been around for some time now. I made this guide to help newbies understand the game to a degree, teach them a tip or two about about everything there is and what to expect as they progress on. Most of the content of this guide are things that I have taught to new players I have assisted in game.

Character and Realm (server) Selection

 20250810_141453.JPG.459bd8c124b1577d51acad5f739a4f05.JPG

20250810_141525.JPG.d9f4bb0a13ca748d97cc54bc9c87bc5c.JPG 20250810_141546.JPG.a0affea3d7fd7246793ca93eda7dbc1f.JPG

Choose any faction and class of your liking.

There are twenty classes available to choose from—five from each of the four factions. Each of them has a specific role in battle. A description of their basic skills are included in the selection so pick the one that piques your interest.

Some classes will have a hard time at the beggining while others not that much. Tanker and healer classes have the advantage of surviving longer in early games. Class with invisibility can pass waves of mobs easily. That being said all character class matters in the end. However, the classes 20250810_141834.JPG.9cab2fc5a30f62eabd4c89922c169ee3.JPG Charmer from Forsaken and 20250810_141856.JPG.3b37cba671388a12ed4b76432e9c0aba.JPG Beastmaster from the Firstborn are popular starting picks for their summon abilities which are useful early on in game.

20250810_144023.JPG.984c24e38211f662c7990ffeba1cd3f4.JPG

For choosing a server you might want to pick the server that corresponds your location to reduce latency. Big events on the servers occur differently in time and are held at favourable hours during evening. So if you are a student or someone having a busy day job it is good to choose the right server for you. Another factor also to consider is the server population, it is up to you if you want to join an already populated server or join a server with fewer players in it and make a name for yourself and help the players in the server grow.

Spoiler

*Take note: Name, hairstyle and hair color can be changed throughout the game but not the gender. Once the character is created the selected Realm or server can not be changed, but you can always make a new one if you wish to play on other servers.

If you are having difficulty with your character's class or not getting the hang of the class' playstyle— try other factions and classes! I myself started out as a Rouge but found comfort in playing as a Shaman.

Welcome to the Forge of Gods. You are now a part of Arinar's history.

20250810_141632.JPG.0f5194b4ea55b48f7aacc5e08a3d58ca.JPG 20250810_141646.JPG.29f3a9e7bf99abe76d40bbe0712d6e62.JPG 20250810_141710.JPG.7714d558e81c6410ef1378d42e76a790.JPG

This map will teach you the primary lessons of the game in a straight forward questline. Follow on Orin's order and be rewarded handsomely which includes an Elder Firebeard, a minion that can greatly help you from start. If you just started and didn't have this section of game that means you are playing on an old account. You might want to register a new account if you want additional rewards from the start.

Starting Island (Map 1) and the Basics of the Game

⪻────𖤓────⪼
You are now thrown away to your respective island. Each faction has their own starting island, quests differ each map. Execute what you have learned in the Forge of Gods and prove yourself to be a worthy adventurer.

20250812_153653.JPG.9988ae50a4ddcaf9f86c7d0cf8336127.JPG 20250812_153707.JPG.12f7a48a32551462943699152e24e32b.JPG

During your progress in game you will encounter boss monsters with ridiculous amount of HP. As a newbie you can't handle them by yourself. Here comes the usefulness of the Elder Firebeard kicks in, it is a great support minion able to assist you from the very start. Later on these bosses will get progressively strong and you might require assistance from other players in game.

Warspear Online is an MMO. You can ask players to help you once you get access to the world chat, or if lucky enough you might encounter another player who also needs it. Party up with them and slay the boss. Don't forget to give thanks to everyone in the party chat.

Spoiler

Take Note: The Elder Firebeard isn't always there to assist you. It has a lifespan of 2 days before it expires once used. Within this time you must atleast finish the starting island questline to maximize its existence, 2 days is enough to finish it. Don't worry about it expiring on the next island since there are a lot more players there hanging around you can directly ask for help. For now try to to take on the starting island with your trusty Elder Firebeard.

Dungeons and Rewards

20250812_153758.JPG.d829fca2f7db6405d894c7acbbed466b.JPG 20250812_153838.JPG.c7e277e4e89eeff140790f76cdc8e61d.JPG 20250812_153917.JPG.541d03e976977ef8f538d35e85b608e2.JPG 20250812_153859.JPG.93c27baa4242648590b1721bb9a44fa5.JPG

Dungeons are marked as a skull icon on the map. Most of them have requirements you need to pass before you can enter especially in later parts of the game. Starting isle dungeons are made for a solo player which you can tackle with little to no difficulty by the help of Elder Firebeard.

Spoiler

Take Note: Most dungeons have a level cap for receiving the dungeon chest reward. If you exceed the recommended level by two you might have an empty reward chest at the end. Going underlevel has no repercussions. Running through a dungeon requires stamina which you can refill using stamina seeker or regenerate one every eight hours.

Resilience and Ferocity item rewards

 20250812_154049.JPG.9bd10be84d6f60dfb94cd8a065f575d3.JPG 20250812_154118.JPG.2cd1e2ca4110b0f2c71394d2db08c4c3.JPG

During your progress you will be rewarded with items having Resilience and Ferocity. These stats are mainly for PvP and not intended for PvE/questing. 20250812_155830.JPG.c3dc525a6235fe1f6bfb8827f579274b.JPGResilience increases the damage you take from monsters while reduces damage from players. 20250812_155816.JPG.166a3b35cad3eb899ea5b874437221be.JPGFerocity on the other hand increases damage to players but reduces the damage done to monsters. Use them if you want to try out Arena and get lucky to find a match where you'll lose most of the time.:barbarian:

You're a beginner after all and you might get matched against some beastly characters. Instead focus now on questing and PvE items before anything else. Equip these items only as a last resort, use them only if you have nothing to equip.

Spoiler

Take Note: You will be rewarded constantly by these kind of equipments. It is necessary to sell your old Resilience gears and Ferocity weapons the time you get a newer one.

Additional Note on selling unwanted items— you will also be rewarded with pots and scrolls early on, sell them for gold in npcs except for the healing ones as they are useful.

Equipment Amplification

  20250812_165622.JPG.323b9d754bb7e88760adfc542d263b5f.JPG 20250812_165649.JPG.62e22eb76b18820509cf1ca75ccffb04.JPG 20250812_170700.JPG.56103a3c6a2a427afbf74de39114198c.JPG

By the time reading this guide I hope you haven't destroyed any items yet from amplifying. If you happen to and have your account connected to google play games then you'll get 1000 exp (Hey, at least you got something).:tease:

Amplifying is the way to enhance an item's damage or defense but the higher you go the harder the chance of amplifying and the higher chance of destroying your item is. To ensure your item's safety from destruction you must use 20250812_191650.JPG.8ade8ae5a7e9a3552b733a92f76bbae6.JPGSigns of Imperishability. Using Signs does not increase chance of amplifying.

Two-handed weapons, staffs, and bows are harder to amplify compared to one-handed weapons when amplifying past the +1 upgrade.

Spoiler

Take Note:

20250812_170629.JPG.aa4a269f9083c2486e003c0437f390f4.JPG

Amplifying an item to just +1 is good enough in the early stages of the game as it is always a sucess. Going beyond +1 without Signs of Imperishability is one of the most newbie mistake I see in game which ends in them begging weapons in game's chat. It is also better to save the Signs of Imperishability you receive as gifts from Battle Pass and chests for higher level equipments you can get later on.

Battle Pass, a Gift for premium and free account

20250813_122353.JPG.39335da80155c3bb1fd78197fdcd2190.JPG 20250812_191810.JPG.da3e232c821eaf586d501ad5c678ab3b.JPG

Upon reaching level 6 you will be granted access to the Battle Pass. Activating Battle Pass will grant awesome rewards as you complete seasonal tasks and earn points. However it costs Miracle Coins, but dont worry since you can buy it from other players too (you might need a hefty amount of gold though).

The free version of Battle Pass also holds useful buffs, minions, gold, signs, and sometimes a costume at the end so don't feel left out by the premium content rich players has. Just try to complete those daily and weekly seasonal tasks for those juicy seasonal points.

The Talent tree and Knowledge

 20250812_165503.JPG.468ffde363f3bbdb6de7967d1fe69821.JPG 20250813_122810.JPG.fb007f8aa24e42fb4ed9f512e1843cf8.JPG

The talent tree sections are unlocked reaching level 5. You also get a decent amount of knowledge as you gain in level. Here you can improve the growth of skills and stats of your character. All classes have different talent trees. Knowledge and a gold fee is needed to upgrade your talent. But for now try to read what upgrades are awaiting for your character.

Upgrading your character's talent might take up some of your riches and time since there is a cap on how much knowledge you can earn through questing and running dungeons. On normal days the cap for knowledge is 1,200 on questing/arena, 500 on killing elites, and dungeons have 1,500 cap but sometimes the devs will be utmost generous and double it on events sometimes triple the cap! Yay!:happy01:

Spoiler

Take Note: Joining events and world bosses also gives knowledge and without a cap! So be mindful of this info and join all you can in the future.

Joining a Guild

20250813_132841.JPG.25b8d1b617a1a9925631579b4067a752.JPG

I think now is the right time to discuss about guilds. If you still haven't joined one then you are missing out on the following stuffs. Click the spoilers to view the benefits of joining a guild.

Spoiler

The Benefits of joining a Guild:

20250815_051907.JPG.6c8b296dbb78fcb8cb7413ba4f890693.JPG

- A guild provides additional stats to your character depending on the level of the guild and upgrades it has such as increase defense and HP. They also provide buffs such as the increase exp gain which is useful for beginners, although you need to ask someone in the Guild ranked Challenger and above to activate the buffs.
- The higher the guild level the better the services it can provide.
- Access to the guild's chat.
- Access to the guild storage, but as a rookie you need permission to meddle and buy things in the guild storage.

Spoiler

Take Note: As a low level and a begginer your chance of being accepted into a high level guild is low, unless you personally know someone in the guild who can vouch for you.

Finding a Guild
 - There are guilds keen on helping beginners and will recruit you on right the spot. Some guilds also seek members in the world chat and in the official discord server, ask them if you can join. You can also ask in the world chat and discord server if there are available guilds who can send an invite to you.

Spoiler

Take Note: I have noticed more success for newbies finding a decent guild in Discord rather than from someone asking in the game's world chat for a guild. If you still haven't joined the Discord server— now is a good time a join the official Warspear Discord server.

Once you are accepted in the guild there could be certain rules the guild leader might impose. Follow them or you will be booted out and you must wait for six hours before you can get into a guild again.

Guild Events
- Guild events can only be activated by the guild's Leader, Right-Hand and Heirs and can be joined by everyone in the Guild. Some events are permanent and others are seasonal. These events hands out prizes to all present members such as buffs, knowledge, reputations, currencies and chests that might contain expensive skill books.

Guild vs Guild Events
-These events happens from time to time to show of your guild's strength against others. One notable example of this is the Mermen Trials on the Ship Graveyard Section of Ayvondil.

Guild Raids
- High level Guild Raids are done mostly by strong guilds with high numbers of leveled players. However, low level raids can be done too in small guilds as long as your guild has enough strong players. Some guild raids are easy and some are not. The required level to enter a raid is 20.

Irselnort (Map 2) and the Players on the other side of the Island

⪻────𖤓────⪼

Congratulations or "gz" to you, as what players say in game. You finally made it to the second island. With your previous experience from the starting island I believe you can handle most of the stuff now, but that's not the case in this map.

Irselnort is a territory for both warring sides, the Legion(Forsaken, Mountain Clan)and Sentinel(Chosen, Firstborn). Each side can attack the opposite factions freely with no consequences so be careful. Progressing through the map means you are also progressing towards the enemy's side. Enemy players can also kill your minion so be very wary of them.

Spoiler

Take Note: If you are being hunted by a player of the opposing factions and overwhelmed by the level and gear difference always ask for help in the world chat. Players will always help kill oppositions for fun or if they want to try out their new builds against other players.

Battle for Teritorries

20250813_123856.JPG.78af04ee0fe7dffde3eb00245d81bc01.JPG

It is a staple event that happens twice a week on Irselnort (time varies depending on the server). It requires the participation of all the players. It is a full blown war against players of opposing factions. You might experience lag and screen glitches caused by all the players and their flashy skills.

The objective of the event is to invade and destroy the flags placed on the enemy towns, each flag destroyed will determine the buffs you will get at the end of the event. The event takes an hour before it ends. Destroying the enemy's last flag ends the event too. The buffs received will greatly enhance your stats for a day or three(depending on the event).

Spoiler

Take Note: You must be present in the island of Irselnort to receive the buff reward. It is advisable to turn off the player names, guild names, damage numbers and healing done in the settings if the lag is intense in the heat of battle. Do this too in other similiar situations where there are so many players congested in a single map such as world boss locations.

Norlant Swamps (Map 3) and the Frustrations of Dying

⪻────𖤓────⪼

20250816_084104.JPG.92428b92a121a729b356bdcbe41294f5.JPG

Time, Patience, and Luck. These three are needed for every soul who dares to venture in this notorious parts of Arinar, the Norlant Swamp. This island is brutal and unforgiving to everyone. If you will ask a player what their favorite map is it's obviously not Norlant Swamps. The swamp operates on teleport portals to advance your character's location and these portals doesn't have a fix target location, they teleport you randomly anywhere in map! Except for the portal that leads you back to the town.

You might be surprised to see so many yellow quests available on the swamps once you step foot in it but the only questline that matters here is the quest "Echo of Centuries". It is the only quest necessary to advance in game once you get instructed to go here from Irselnort.

After finishing the string of quests after Echo of Centuries, the questline will lead you back to Irselnort to finish the final batch of quests there.

The only thing players go back in this map is to hunt the hydra, a worthwhile boss which gives decent drops if you kill it. But getting there is frustrating for everyone.

Spoiler

20250816_084142.JPG.e9fc8f48ac699d78e4edcfa3b3d26b14.JPG

Take Note: If you find yourself dying alot you might want to remove your gears before entering the portals to reduce their wearing when dying and just wear them once you reach your desired location. It is also adviced to get fully equipped once you reach Kotarava since you don't want to die there before your quest is finished.

Astral Labyrinth

⪻────𖤓────⪼

 20250816_084234.JPG.2d88cff846fb0bc85cb3552650815370.JPG

Your first encounter with the Labyrinth or "lab" might be to get the Star Coffer from the Stargate Keeper, you will need assistance getting it. Ask for help from other players. The Astral Labyrinth might look a Nightmare to beginners but after unlocking the daily quests in the lab you will find yourself running it daily. Why? The daily quests give decent amount of exp and the potion rewards you can sell to npcs for gold(or use them).

Running through the Labyrinth requires a party especially for weak players but don't worry as players you can join go through the lab on a daily basis.

Spoiler

Take Note: Stick to your party all the times, being away could lead you up to be ganged up by monsters and die. If you are a healer try not to heal others when they are not in need of healing or you might generate agro. Most healer players develop a habit of casting heal continously to themselves or others just like it's breathing. I know this because I'm also a healer :P

Currencies and ways to earn

As of now you already noticed that gold isn't the only currency used in game, although it is the only currency you can transfer to other players directly. Most of the currencies are personal and are obtained in different means.

Spoiler

What should I spend/save it for

As a beginner try not to spend as much as you can. Save your gold for expert skills that you can use when you reach level 18. Normally these skill books cost 40,000 gold in the library, or if you are lucky some players can sell it for a discount in dealers.

20250815_023705.JPG.99f1c99c6718502c300ee6d04ac3b8d3.JPG Arena Points
 - Gained via spending arena tickets and fighting in arena matches. Use to purchase gladiator chests and equipments with resilience and ferocity stats which are useful in PvP combat.

What should I buy with it?

If you have been doing some arena from time to time it is better to save it until you have enough arena points for high level arena equipments. I always suggest buying armor first with resilence to reduce the chance of dying much against players or on the other hand if your objective is to kill others then go for the weapon.

20250815_023841.JPG.53d9335dbff97c2cfc7ba0661de60c0e.JPG Crimson Corondum

Save it for now and wait for seasonal events such as Horror(halloween), Snow(christmas) and Spring events as the guild merchant on the event island has limited time costumes and chests that might contain a rare book for that event.

Or if you want you can purchase the already available costumes and gears in the guild merchant if you fancy them.

Obtained by spending your cash in the Miracle Shop section of the game or by joining official contests posted in the official game forum, Facebook page, and the Discord server. Required for the usage of some in-game services (such as name change, battle pass, item unbinding item) and buying products in the Miracle Shop.

Your first Miracle coin usage should always be the increase inventory slot. A +5 space in your inventory for the price of 1 miracle coin is a once in a lifetime deal.

View spoilers below to show tips on gaining most from Miracle Coins.

Spoiler

- There is always a discount when buying Miracle coins during weekend, plan your purchase on these days.
- Each day after the server reset a specific item in Miracle Shop will be sold at 50% discount! Use this opportunity to buy that item in bulk and sell it to other players for profit.
- The most sougth items in Miracle Shop are the items: Teleport Scrolls, Repair Scrolls, Life Scrolls, Arena Tickets, Seekers and Signs of Imperishabilty. All players use them on daily basis so there's market for them always. Buy them when they are on sale.
- If you have a large inventory or a spare character you can use for storage you can hoard the said items and wait until their price goes high in gold and then sell them. You need to be cautious not to keep them so long as the said items can go on sale again and its price in gold will go down.

Take Note: Hoarding on Signs of Imperishability is useless since it sales weekly thus resetting its price every week.

Each town here are described by players as T1 to T5 for fast typing which I will do the same in this guide. All five towns here has a dungeon that requires faction reputation to enter a certain difficulty. You gain reputations by doing quests on that town and running through the dungeon in its territory.

For T1 you might have to stay there for a bit and do daily quests when done with the main ones as there is a dungeon quest that requires 1760 reputation (you need to run easy to hard) before you go on. Same mechanics will apply to T2 but the following next towns will have the dungeon quests as optional and not be needed to unlock the other towns.

After unlocking T3 dailies or the blue quests you will see some quests there that requires killing a single enemy, this could be a boss or a mini boss. You should accept those quest and stack them up maybe for two days or three until they are piled up and then that's the time you should do it together with other players in a party. Players just casually call other questors in world chat as "t3 pm me" so join them if you are free. Same thing is for T4 so try to finish the main quests for T4 quickly so you can collect those daily quests. A quick note: Sell those scroll rewards from T3 and T4 quests for gold as each costs around 200g each.

This is an example of a stacked T4 quest for three days. You just need a single run accross the map to finish it instead of doing it every day little by little you could just do it all at once! Most players do it this way.

The Ship Graveyard or most of T5 is different from the other towns of Ayvondil as most of its territory is underwater and does require oxygen. It is the first territory in game that has regional gears and talent that offers bonuses that only works on that specific region (except Resilience and Ferocity for PvP, these regional stats are for PvE). Venturing deep in the waters may be fatal if underequipped and underleveled.

Tips to survive:

Upgrade your sea talents and earn Pirate Doubloons for sea equipments. Upgrading your sea talents might take a while but for beginners just upgrading your underwater speed and oxygen reduction is a big help. If you want to earn doubloons as I mentioned in the currency guide is that you should do the Guild events "Ship Assault" and "Descent to Grotto". If your recent guild is not doing these events it is advisable to seek a guild that does these events if you want to earn doubloons for those sea equipments.

Once you had those Elixir of Experience pots from either daily gift or market alongside with buffs from either Guild or Battle Pass— gaining exp while doing those stacked T3 and T4 quests will guarantee a ton of exp.

As of the making of this guide the Island of Almahad is the latest map added to the game. I won't tackle much of it since it will take up some time before you can get here and monsters here are extremely powerful (you should be an intermediate player if you want to do some questing here, this is only a beginner's guide lol:bleh2:). Players describe this map as "just like T5 ayvondil, but in the desert" which I agree on but also way harder. Here are some few things you need to know about this map:

Spoiler

- PvP gears are needed especially for the monsters in the Golden Sands. Resilience gears are needed to survive.
- Two new Talent trees from the guilds of Almahad, Adventurer and Assassin. However you can only choose one. It can be changed in the future but that means resetting your previous talents so be wise on picking it at first.
- If you purchased the Battle Pass and have received the 20250816_212828.JPG.b671fd67b5caf4255bc752b40057eaba.JPGWater Protector minion it can greatly help you do the main quests that leads to choosing your guild in Almahad so you can have access to the Golden Sands and Scorpion Kingdom.

End of Guide, Thanks for Reading. :thanks:
