Beginner`s guide to Warspear 2025 by Geogg (eu-emerald)

Featured Replies

You just downloaded the game and now staring at the character creation or have been playing for a while and looking for guidance to continue your journey through the game.

Character Creation

Firstly when you create a character you might choose a character that looks cool, However personally I recommend starting a class that is Physical damage orientated. It will be such as melee, or bow and crossbow class with their high auto attack damage. Classes with staffs rely on casting abilities, however since mana regen is so low at early levels caster classes struggle to regenerate enough mana to continually deal consistent dmg. Some classes can do both physic or magic, to check you can go into skills to see what your class can equip. Personally I recommend Beastmaster on elf side or Charmer on mc side as a starter. Tanks are also a great choice. Magic classes struggle at the being as the least durable class and staff being a low auto attack weapon.

(Take into consideration that magic dmg gear will be much cheaper then physic dmg gear later on, and high level guilds often look for magic caster players.)

(Unfortunately I have seen players delete or make a brand new account when they want to try out different classes. Its completely unnecessary, since you can keep that character and if its at least level 6 you can use your personal storage and use that character for banking and auctioning. So don`t delete your characters.)

If you like the game make sure to link your account to your Email, or Facebook.

Skill Points

Every 2 levels (every even number levels) you gain 1 skill points and every 10 levels you gain 2 skill points. You should look up a guide on your class for where to spend these points because its expensive to change them, However you get a Second Skills option when reaching level 18. So don`t worry if you already spend those skill points because you can have 2 skill books.

Daily rewards

Every day you log into your character you get a daily reward, and that is why you should make a lot of new characters of every class. At day 4 you receive an exp elixir with increases exp gain by 100%. Which can be a huge help to level up fast.

Level 6

Level 6 is one the minor milestone you can achieve. This level gives access to your personal storage able to access an account wide inventory that every one of your characters can access except if the character is on a different faction. You also unlock world chat and you can talk to every player currently online. At this point most players ask in world chat to join a guild. Guilds can give variety of buffs but most importantly XP buff. It increases the experience you gain from quests making levelling much quicker. You also unlock the Battle pass, with daily challenges you can earn gold, minions, and buffs that last till end of the season, also the last week of the season gives 3x more points to help complete the battle pass.

How to use Chat

When you are in game, click on the bottom right corner to access the menu. Go into Social and then Chat. Chat has multiple functions such as trading, world chat, private massages, party, guild, and etc. To change the type of chat go into the bottom right corner again in the chat function and choose which one you want.

PVP

Level 4 you unlock PVP able to fight in the arenas. You can have 5 free tickets. After use you get a new ticket each hour till you get 5. Fighting earns you arena points even if you win or loose. With these arena points you can buy arena weapons and armour. These items only good against players. It's completely optional so don`t worry about it.

Bosses

When questing you might encounter Boss type enemies that have much more health then other enemies. You can see their difference that they have health bars. These Bosses cannot be defeated easily because they meant to be fought in a group of party. However you might not find players around so you can do the fallowing to defeat them. First you can ask in world chat for help from high level players to help you kill the boss, If no one answers you can use Minions try defensive ones with aggression. lastly if you don`t have a minion you can kill it with the use of health potions. If you still having trouble killing these bosses, you can just skip them and do it later when you get stronger.

Minions

Minions are a time limited helper able to deal damage, heal, or tank depending on the type. You might already have a minion in your inventory or a minion cache which one open will give you a random minion. Not all minions equal, some are stronger then others and their timer can vary from 2 hours up to 2 days. Minions can help quest and even in dungeons to fight with you.

What minions to use

when you start you receive a "Summon Elder Firebeard" its a healer minion with boosting movement speed. It lasts for 2 days ideal for questing for beginners, but its only useful in the beginning. Later in map2 the movement speed doesn't apply. It also gives mana regen so you can level up as a caster class easily. The other minion I recommend is "Summon Flying Monkey". This is a tank type minion lasting 8 hours. Its strong enough to help you with every boss in map1 and map2. You can buy these cheap in the auction. Tank minions are generally cheaper then healing ones, since tank minions tend to die on highest levels. While healer minions keep you alive. Try to save your healing minions and use defensive ones at the early levels.

Weapons and Armour

When you are questing you receive stronger weapons and armour to help you get stronger, however you might receive weapons and gear that is meant for player versus player (PVP). You can differentiate these by the weapons having ferocity, and the armour having resilience one of its stat. You should not use these items for questing because it makes you weaker and deal less damage. Instead you should sell these items at a vendor.

Amping

Amping short of amplification. This is how you upgrade your weapon damage or your armours defences. You should only upgrade your weapons at a higher level when you bought your final weapon you plan to use. Amping is expensive because you need to buy damage or defence spheres and sign of Imperishability. The spheres are used to upgrade and the sign is used to make sure your item doesn`t disappear or break. You can loose your weapon if you don`t use signs so you should only upgrade your items from 0 to +1. +1 amping is safe as far as I know

Crafting level 10

Crafting unlocks at level 10. You need to buy crafting license from innkeeper vendors for 80 gold each. With these you can craft weapons, armours, accessories. Its rather hard to unlock new crafting levels so you wont be able to craft yourself same level items as you quest and level up. If you do want to craft I recommend that you wait for rare crafting recipes that change about every 30 minutes. The first rare craft is available at level 3 crafting.

Map 1 To Map2

Your starting area is referred to map 1. Now that you finished all the quests in map 1, you can go and continue at Irselnort, the ashen coast otherwise known as map 2. Here you might encounter enemy players with red nametags. This is the enemy faction that you can fight each other. The 2 faction officially named Sentinels and Legion, but players call them elf and mc. Its a reference to elfs as a playable faction and mc is short for Mountain clan.

Questing in map2

The quests here are similar to the quests you have been doing, only difference is that you can`t skip the boss fights here but if you ask for help for these bosses in world chat you might find help quicker since there are high level players hang around here. You also might notice you won`t receive pve gear anymore only pvp. From here on you can only get gear from the auction sold by other players. The new gear and weapons come from either from crafting or random drops from quests or dungeons. These items might cost a lot of gold so try to avoid overspending on these, Therefore I recommend that you should only buy a new weapon around either level 18 or 20, and armour you might find level 17 to be the cheapest but its better to save gold for Advanced skills.

Questing in map3

Map 3 known as swamp. The quests unlocks at level 14 but, its a much harder zone for a fresh beginner with elite level enemies. You find teleport gates around which teleports you to random areas which can be frustrating sometimes not getting to the places you want to be. Its rather easy to die here so I recommend skipping this area and continuing questing in map 2.

Dying in game

When you die in game you loose 10% durability of your currently equipped items. You can prevent this by going into character and switching gear sets marked by numbers. There is 3 different tabs you can have. You can also put any equipment in these tabs that you don't use, and it won`t use up your inventory space. Once your equipment breaks you should use a repair scroll instead of repairing them one by one. In the auction you will be able to buy the repair scrolls.

New skills level 18

New skills unlocks at level 18, this is where your saved gold can and should be spent. The new skills costs 40000 gold. You might have enough to buy one if you saving every gold you earned so far. If you can`t decide which one to buy ask the question in world chat or look up a guide on your class.

End of map 2

Eventually you slowly finish the quests. This part does require help from other players, because the last area has a lot of boss type quests and after finishing those you get 2 final quests. one of the quests tells you to go to the swamp (map3) and find npcs to speak to. Finishing the quests there sends you back to map2. You get a quest to kill the gatekeeper in Lab. After this you get the quest to do the Berengar`s tower Dungeon. To unlock the dungeon you need to earn reputation with chainless league. It can be done alone with a help of a minion or with players. You need to kill the enemy faction bosses one by one. You get these quests in Nadir-Sard. After you need to ask players to help you with the dungeon so type: "need help Ez to hero bg" its, (its short for easy to heroic Berengar) or "need help bg questline" this dungeon has 5 difficulties that are easy, normal, hard, heroic, mythic. You need to do the first 3, and the 4th heroic difficulty is optional, but don`t forget to finish the quests in between. Once done you unlock map 4 know as Ayvondil. Its a rather difficult questline to explain but there are guides for it as well.

Old and new Lab

Lab short for astral labyrinth, its a maze with elite level enemies dealing a lot of damage, So you need to do this with a party. You also get a quest new enemy. If you are with a party tell them that you don`t have new lab and need help. Finishing this quest unlocks New Lab with a continuation of lab. You also need help with a boss here to unlock the Berengar tower questline.

image.png.20dc88a1d403e3af3783804e3af51a58.png

Most people are too afraid to go map 4 thinking its too hard. They rather do lab everyday to earn gold and XP. Although I thought the same at some point, but now that I hit max level. I can recommend that you go map4, it has way better daily quests to earn gold and XP.

Map 4 Ayvondil

This is the area you will spend most time to level up and earn gold for the early game. I recommend using a minion to quests although its not that hard. The areas here are referred to the towns you visit in order t1, t2 ,t3 ,t4, t5. You share the same t1 and t2 town with the enemy faction here but in the other towns you compete with them. you should finish the quests here as soon as possible until you finish t4 quests. since the daily quests from t3 and t4 will earn you the most gold and exp.

T3 daily quests are known as 85k on elf side and 80k on mc side. you don`t have to do these quests everyday, because the quests are different each day. Usually you get all the daily quests about 2-3 days.

image.png.f9a9fcc952e7c4dbf7399bfcdbbb79af.png

T4 daily quests known as Pelion on elf side and 90200k on mc side. Similar to t3 dailies lot of bosses and you will a party if you are not strong enough to do them alone. You also get every quests in 2-3 days.

image.png.a84e351bbd33a0245d2ff22b6d89b8b1.png

If you do t3 and t4 daily quests about every 2-3 days you should reach level 27 where you can buy gear rather cheap know as Technopolis gear, you also might earn enough reputation in t4 to unlock tech dungeon short for Technopolis. Which you can do every 2 days for earning you a bit more gold. Save the gold for new weapon and gear for at least level 30 or 32.

Finishing t4 quests unlocks you the next area on the map T5 called Sea, and it also unlocks the map 5 Almahad. Both of these areas are too hard for now and you should stay in T3 and T4. You might be able to do these areas with an expensive healing minion, but there is no need to rush.

Knowledge

In the menu, character, talents. you can find your talent tree. it takes knowledge and gold to unlock them. Knowledge is rather hard to earn because its capped on a daily limit. 1200 kl daily limit on quests (kl is short for knowledge), 500 kl on daily elite kills (easiest to earn in swamp or lab) and 1500 kl limit on dungeons. You should unlock these talents before you reach 100000 kl max limit. If you reach this limit you won`t be earning more kl. Talents can be one of the best ways to get stronger since these talents change your skills to the better. Learning new talents cost knowledge and gold aswell.

How to level up.

You should buy a xp potion. There are 3 types, 50% you can get it from Storm and bones event lasts for 4 hours. 100% you buy from auction, usually its the cheaper option lasts for 12 hours. 150% great experience potion is the best one also lasts for 12 hours. You can earn a lot of xp if you do the fallowing: Take daily quests in t3 and t4 for about 2-3 days then do them all at once (it doesn't matter when you do the quests as long as you don`t complete them) . Use the potion about 5-6 hours before the daily quests reset. (You can tell when the reset it when in the miracle coin shop the daily item changes.) Do lab and swamp before reset, complete the daily quests in map4, and after reset you can do lab, swamp, and map 4 dailies again. With this you can earn about 5-6k experience in a couple of hours. This only works if you prepare by accepting the all the quests in map4.

Level 30-32

This is the level where you unlock mid game when you buy good high level gear and you can now much stronger able to do the next areas like T5 or Almahad.

I hope this guide helps, and feel free to comment if you think I missed something or got something wrong.

Extra tips: if you struggling to find gold for upgrading talents and buying expert skill after finished map 2 yellow quest. you can make a new character to complete t1 map with the help of your main character. You can get 9-10k gold from map 2 and it's easy to complete too lik in 12 hour to complete.
