August 7, 20251 yr Context Currently, recruiting players is not very practical: guilds have to send messages in the global chat saying they’re recruiting, and interested players must send a private message (PM) to someone in the guild. This system is limited, slow, and creates clutter in the chat with repetitive messages and constant spam. Proposal Implement an official guild invitation system integrated into the chat, with filters and controls, to make recruitment more efficient, automatic, and organized — both for recruiters and players looking for a guild. How It Would Work Guild Invitation Each guild can send 1 invitation every 10 or 30 minutes (configurable). Only the leader or heirs can issue the invitation. Even if another heir tries to send it, it will only be allowed after the cooldown ends. Invitation Details The invitation would include a few simple settings: Minimum player level required (e.g. only level 30+ can apply). Preferred roles/classes (optional): tank, DPS, support, etc. A brief description of the guild: goals, playstyle, rules, etc. Display in Chat The invitation appears highlighted in the global chat with an action button. Example: “Guild X is recruiting! [View Details] [Request to Join]” Join Request Interested players click the “Request to Join” button. A notification goes directly to the guild’s leadership. They can accept or decline the request with one click. If declined, the player will be temporarily blocked from applying again (to prevent spam). If accepted, the player is automatically added to the guild, without needing any private chat. Dedicated Recruitment Chat Additionally, this proposal includes the creation of a separate recruitment chat. Just like we have Global, Trade, Guild chats, there would be a Recruitment Chat, where all active guild invitations would be listed.
