Drakoslayd 673 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 (edited) This update idea includes: 2 new classes Many new weapon types New suggestions for War and changes to World Bosses Both Classes have this skill Bayonet Stance- changes the use of the weapons to their melee equivalent [2handed gun = spear, 1handed gun = dagger] New Forsaken Class: Grenadier Grenadiers are a new Ranged class whom uses 2 new hybrid weapon [which is will put in the Weapons category below] They focus on both Ranged and melee combat but are focused on ranged. They wear light armor and use. Skills: Murder shot- a 5 yard damage skill that can inflict between 1 to 3 Bleeding dot debuff. Grenade- a 3 by 3 aoe damage skill that deals physical damage with a small chance to inflict Stunned Black March: increases movement speed by a small amount, also affects all party members Unholy Defense: reduces damage taken by a % Cosmetic Inspiration for class costume: Lützow Free Corps but i would use the Forsaken color scheme of red and purple New Chosen Class: Musketeer Musketeers are a new Chosen Ranged class not much different than the Grenadier but are able to buff others instead. Sundering Shot- deals increased physical damage while reducing enemy armor for a period of time Aim for the Knee- Deals reduced damage but slows the enemy for a period of time Order: Hold fast!- Improves your and your party members Defense for a short duration Order: Charge!- boosts your and your party members movement speed for a period of time Cosmetic Inspiration for class costume: Swedish uniform from the 17th and 18th century. 100% lore accurate color scheme already there. New Weapons 1handed gun: a Ranged equivalent to a dagger it deals less damage than the bow but is faster. Can be dual wielded but at the cost of its accuracy. For historical inspiration use flintlock pistols but add a small blade to the barrel, as was done with some examples. Naming examples: [pistol], [Handcannon], [dagger gun] 2handed gun: a Ranged equivalent to a spear. Dealing alot more damage than a crossbow but is also slower. You shouldn't need to change the design for many historical examples do include the Bayonet which is needed. Naming examples: [Musket], [Rifle], [Boomstick] Both of these new Ranged Weapons do have a melee mode but they can only be used by the new classes for neither Rangers or Hunters are willing yo use them, whether it's because it's against the code of Nuadu or its too complicated to maintain. Wands: a one handed magic weapon usable by Mages, Warlocks, Priests, Necromancers, Templar, and Charmers. They are equivalent to Daggers and thus doesn't do much damage but it's fast. Tome: a off hand magic weapon that improves attack speed, spell cooldown, and accuracy Orb: similar to the tome but it's defensive in focus, increasing Magic Defense, Resistance, and Solidity. Totem: a 1 handed weapon equivalent to a axe. These can be varied in appearance from holy symbols to skulls, or even effigy dedicated to spirits or skulls. They focus on damage, critical strike chances, and critical strike damage. Battle for Territories Upgrades Unlike the battles and wars of the past a simple buff is no longer incentive enough. War Chests: a new reward for participating in the battlefield they include the lesser War chest and the Greater war chest Lesser War chests doesn't include cosmetic items such as skins or costumes. They only include potions, scrolls, and bars. Greater War Chests includes Costumes, Skins, Potions, and Scrolls but no bars. Side Objectives increases each war chest you receive by 1 for each objective destroyed. You also get 1 for each enemy banner destroyed in each territory aswell. Side Objectives: Artillery: Whether it's the Mortars of the Chosen [16th century inspired] or the Rockets of the Forsaken [Congreve Rockets], both will bombard the attacking forces so teams should take them out to keep allied forces at full health but also earn more rewards after the battle! They appear around each territory but they focus on those moving up and down the roads. They are guarded by npcs according to the perspective factions. Totems: these totems increases the defenses of the alliance banners. They are of Mountain Clans or First Born design and are guarded by npcs of said factions. Convoys: Wagons bearing supplies that moves from one territory to the next and are guarded by 10 npcs of the alliance in question. These are slow moving wagons that if attacked, will try to rush away. The NPCs do not respawn if killed but the Convoy will respawn 30 seconds after a successful or failed supply run. Convoys will provide buffs to the target territory including buffing defense and attack strength. But only in the territory and it's surrounding area. Convoys only provide Arena Points and Guild Points unlike the other side Objectives Great Battle for Territories Upgrade for Port territory Great Shrine to the Brother Gods: a Sentinel exclusive in Camp Riff, this Shrine is required to destroy to break the banner. Unlike its legion counterpart, all defending Sentinels in the territory receives a buff to their defensive stats. The Necrotic Pylon and the Spirit Effigies: The Forsaken built a tall pylon of bone in Armor Cliff. This horrifying pylon damages all Sentinels in the territory [though it scales depending on the attackers level]. But to break the pylon, one should destroy the Mountain Clans Effigys leading up to Armor Cliff from Puma Valley! Edited April 7, 2025 by Drakoslayd Included the meat of the Suggestion.
