"Is this your ca..." He almost turns his back to reveal an ace of spade but she cuts him and says "I can't do this anymore, Trick".

 

Trick is a super famous bard in Arinar. He can quickly master new skills, almost instantly. Today he wants to impress his soulmate, Priestina (not based on any player's name, it's just a low hanging fruit), with a magic trick. She picks a card and Trick will show the card on his back. Pathetic but it is meant to be funny.

 

Priestina is a beginner priest who happens to have enough free time to hang out. But recently, she was promoted to an advanced priest who must explore Almahad as a potion carrier to learn from real battles.

 

She tells Trick her situation and says that if only there was a place for a bard (wink wink devs) in her journey, they could have been still hanging out together. She must leave because her family's honor depends on her success.

 

Trick is heartbroken. After a week of sad songs, Trick decides to go rogue (pun intended). He robs as many rich nobles he can find and buy weapons and armory. He is now determined to be with Priestina to protect her even if she doesn't notice. He follows her everywhere, assisting her from the shadows.

 

One day he has to give up his stealth to deal a final blow to a monster that almost harms Priestina. She is angry of what Trick is doing risking his life in her uncle's obviously stolen trouser. Trick doesn't immediately respond. Instead, he steps back, moves his body, and sings

 

"I.... just wanna tell you how I'm feeling

Gotta make you understand...

 

Never gonna give you up!

Never gonna let you down!

Never gonna run around and desert you!"

He stops and

 

"Oh anyway, is this your card?"

He turns around and shows his back completing his pathetic trick.

 

"NOOOOOO! It was four of clubs!"

 

She cries and hugs him.

 

They continue their journey together with Trick staying in stealth and watch Priestina as they grow stronger together.

I got rickrolled after reading the story and got rickrolled again after seeing the costume and googled how rick's outfit looked like  it really looks like a normal outfit at first glance smh.

 

Also, you should name it Trick's Role. I am begging you!
