Muting guild chat for certain ranks during events and guild vs guild.

Featured Replies

Hi.

It would be nice to have an option to mute everyone for a certain time period from getting in guild chat flooding it when others are directing important commands.

Example during gvg only Leader, Right hands. and Heirs can chat during a specific time period. This would be an optional option to turn on you can also leave it how it is.
I say this because a lot of people uncontrollably want to chat about stuff not important and others can miss important information.

This is an interesting point, but it comes into play in the situation of rules that players themselves create within the game world... it would be something more internal.
In other words, the guild leaders themselves should make their members aware of their conduct within the guild... that in important moments such as guild events and castle sieges, they should only talk in the chat if there is some useful information.

In many gaming communities, especially during competitive events like Guild vs. Guild (GVG), clear communication is crucial. The idea of implementing a temporary mute feature for guild chat can significantly enhance the effectiveness of communication during these critical periods. During high-stakes events, chat can become flooded with off-topic discussions, making it easy for players to miss vital information. A mute option can help maintain clarity.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I know it’s hard to get people to stop chatting besides a few certain ranks but you always have those members “inv party” “enemy >” move < from non crucial members and it’s confusing, and yes can miss important info. With these guild raids being fun and challenging, it seems everyone wants to add their 2 cents in.

It’s happened a lot i’ve seen that we are chatting important GVG commands and members are flooding chat so others are missing these. It would be nice to have a chat feature for only Heir leader right hand option during events or you can choose who can chat. This would benefit everyone, 90-100 people on it’s hard to keep them quiet all the time.
