Aeonaveer

Story

Rumour has it that a war raged for a very long period in ancient time. The God of War and the God of Death began to be more and more powerful. And other Gods started to be jealous and angry. They wanted to change events...
With a much effort and bribes they prepared conditions for a peace between factions. But the peace didn’t last too long...

Gods of War and Death together offered a wish fulfilment for a new war conflict to Aeonaveer who was the deputy commander of troops - he was a poor warrior but his family had high political influence. Aeonaveer agreed and indirectly by intrigues started a new war.

According to his wishes The God of Death granted him an immortality and The God of War gave him invincibility in fight - how predictable wishes for a man...

The rest of Gods were furious on Aeonaveer but they could not take him away gifts he got. Anyway they punished him cruelly. He was sentenced to be neither alive nor dead, ingrown to the ground on the border between factions to see what he did. And if at anytime factions make a peace – even for a while – he is sentenced to pain and suffer...

But it's only a rumour.

Aeonaveer is ingrown to the ground for eternity - a long time ago he resigned for his sword. He threw it away in agony and now he is using only mental power because of a need to repel all beings. Poor man who can't die and can't live. :mega_shok:

Place

A room has two entrances – one for each faction. Each entrance is on the opposite side of the room. These entrances have one common entrance from Nadir-Sar (a border between factions). But it’s possible to place it similarly also in Ayvondil somewhere in a neutral area.

Room

In the room players from one faction can attack players from an opposite faction. All players with level >= 12 can enter this room until the Aeonaveer's life is above 80%.
In the moment Aeonaveer's hp is below 80% the room is "locked" = like in a dungeon this room is "separated" and "copied". That means no one can enter from outside but players can leave out (but they can’t return back).
[For other players the new room with Aeonaveer is created and they can go to this new room (the same concept as for dungeons).]

After locking room (80% of life condition) players will have some time (let's say 20 minutes) to defeat Aeonaveer. This time can be oversized – it doesn’t matter. When time is over all players are moved out (similarly like in a dungeon when time is over).

Remark: Technically Aeonaveer can be defeated and can die only in an alternative world not in "real world" ;)

Creature

Aeonaveer has got (let’s say) 300k hp.

He resists all spells which could immobilize him (sleep, bind etc.) or move him from the central position – he stays all time in the middle of the room (he is ingrown to the ground) and he must be always ready to react.

Special abilities (if Aeonaveer is alive of course):

  1. If any player attacks another player from other faction, Aeonaveer deals this attacker double of that damage AND heals himself for the same amount (e.g. player A has attacked a player B for 50hp -> player A gets damage for 100hp (from Aeonaveer) and Aeonaveer heals 100hp). This ability is working on any number of targets and any time.
  2. Players in the room have power disadvantage if one faction is outnumbered (and advantage if a balance is holding). Practically the attack power is multiplied by a coefficient K which is in interval (see below for details).

* The goal for defeating this creature is to cooperate between factions a little (make a peace for a while as Gods predestined).

Insertion:
For people who are able to read and survive very simple math here is some suggestions how to calculate coefficient K based on the faction "balance" in the room:

Let's N1 = number of players from faction 1 in the room - it changes in time and N2 = number of players from faction 2 in the room
Then K = min(N1,N2) / max(N1,N2) + 0.25
Minimum value of K is 0.25 (maxiumum 1.25) which means that players attack a quarter of their normal power.

Coefficient K is a measurement of balance between factions in the room. This coefficient will modify players' power.

It will be quite hard to destroy Aeonaveer without players from other faction.
Example:
In the room there are 10 elfs and 2 mcs - all players will have 45% of their normal power (2/10+0.25=0.45). For 15 elfs and 12 mcs - all players will have power 105% (12/15+0.25=1.05).
The coefficient K is calculated and applied continuously.

Attack

Aeonaveer attacks by a magic bolt (350 dmg range attack) the strongest reachable player from each faction (two targets).
Moreover every 12 seconds the Aeonaveer invokes a "wave of rancor" which attacks all players in the room - physically with the power 150 and magically with the power 150. All attacks can be reduced by armour or spells as usually.
[Values 12 seconds and 150 dmg are only guessed - more experienced players could suggest better and more realistic values.]

Loot

The Aeonaveer himself gives no loot – instead of that near each entrance there is a chest (each faction has its own chest) which will open when Aeonaveer is dead.
To avoid spamming each player should pay 1 stamina if he/she wants to look inside the chest for a reward.

Epilog

After Aeonaveer is dead - in the rest of time - a little war between factions on the bones of Aeonaveer can start! :)
