November 17, 20232 yr Sorry for the clickbait title. But I mean it, please read until the end. I want to suggest another interesting idea that is worth testing. Again, we want to replace Tirelessness talent because since its release, it immediately became Uselessness talent. And it is urgent for us to have an alternative between Thirst for Murder and Tornado of Blades talents. Because seriously, people will rather activate Tornado of Blades talent in 1v1 combat than the other 2 talents. So this idea is for the replacement. [Divine Reflexes] Absolute Reflexes skill no longer increases dodge and physical damage of the character. Instead, every 4 sec. it applies stealth positive effect to the character for 3 sec. while the Stealth skill is in cooldown. Increases the cooldown of Stealth skill to 180 sec. Commentary and explanation: Our main problem is with controls. We don't have any defence against them. And maybe many will disagree, but giving rogue resistance is against its brutal image. This is my personal opinion, btw. It also doesn't help the fact that everytime you choose resistance parameter in your gears, you WILL sacrifice dodge. Whether it is in the item itself or in enchants. Funny. By giving rogue the passive ability to enter stealth every few sec. it will reduce the effectiveness of controls since enemies will not be able to cast direct control or damage against the rogue. Ofc, aoe control and damage skills will still work but the point is to break the combo. What I want to note is that this 3 sec. passive stealth will also trigger Shadow Veil talent but not the Stealth skill damage bonus. So after getting controlled, we can deal more damage. And this will also help in pve where we can't continuously use stealth. And guess what, we need stealth to compete in damage with other classes. I also acknowledge there should be some side effect of this talent and it should be the extension of stealth skill cooldown. Meaning we can't exploit the 60-66% damage bonus from stealth and only the 25% bonus from Shadow Veil. And this talent will also require us to use stealth to enter the cooldown. It shouldn't be OP. There are many suggestions recently in this forum section and most of them are suggesting different types of damage reduction and resistance buff for rogue. I just want to emphasize to everyone that this happens for a good reason; we know the difference between us rogues not being good enough and our class having problem. The remaining rogues are arguably the best rogues in the game because others will just switch class or just quit entirely. This is not us, this is our class. So, please consider all our suggestions and do test them. Edited November 17, 20232 yr by Toad Sage
November 17, 20232 yr All i want for rogues: -Old reflexes or a better version of old reflexes. -tirelessness talent should give the chance to re use the elusive jump by yourself and dont automatically. - extermination should increase penetration too. - thirst of murder talent should give something similar to the all tank talents that gives an guaranteed piercing attack hit -poison should work on all attacks and not only on the first hit, plus on all ricochet adjacent targets. -lower cd from dodging skill and increases his duration and effect -increase max dodge cap Finally - rework maybe the first or second branch and makes it a defensive based branch (anw nowadays speed sucks on rogues) With a talent for absolute reflexes or kick in the back or dodging skill idk.. Or maybe a talent that increases all dodge enchantment (like the warlock talent that increases mana enchants with crystals) C'mon devs there are a lot of ideas here too xd, intetnational forum also Matters smh Edited November 17, 20232 yr by Lilweasel
November 17, 20232 yr Author Oh yeah, I do encourage devs to look at all our suggestions and complaints but what I try to do is to give alternative ideas to "receive less damage and control and deal more damage". And I also acknowledge that rogue nowadays have stupidly low survivability even in pve. Rogue is an old class with almost no innovations all these years. So, I try to give things we currently don't have so that devs may be able to combine our ideas and make something new. Because perhaps, the solution has been hard to achieve because devs keep looking at existing mechanisms.

I'm not sure if you meant for the the 4 second cooldown to begin as the stealth begins (repeatedly leaving only 1 second for anyone to hit the rogue), or if the 4 second cooldown between stealths only starts once the 3 second stealth has ended. Either way, it could become very spammy, especially with current stealth mechanics giving the rogue 2 seconds of untouchability on every stealth. Something that could be interesting with this is removing the 2 second immunity, but adding an ability that removes 1 negative effect every time the rogue stealths. This would leave it vulnerable to some counterplay from DoT damage sources, but would also allow the rogue to more freely use that said stealth, avoiding situations where the passive stealth activates just as you get stunned/silenced, wasting the whole thing. Regardless, interesting idea. Edited November 18, 20232 yr by vavavi
December 31, 20232 yr On 16/11/2023 at 22:11, Toad Sage disse: Desculpe pelo título clickbait. I just want to emphasize to everyone that this happens for a good reason; We know the difference between us bad guys not being good enough and our class having problems. The remaining rogues are arguably the best rogues in the game because others will simply change classes or quit altogether. This is not us, this is our class. So, consider all our suggestions and test them. The new Absolute Reflexes Skill is working very well, it doesn't need any new changes, the Rogue needs healing Skills, currently he is very dependent on vampirism and as we all know here, vampirism becomes useless when your character is under the effect of Skills of control my suggestion is to make him heal based on the poison damage. example: The rogue's next successful attack will poison his enemy for 12s, the poison deals damage based on 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% of the character's physical damage every 3s the character heals for 100% of the damage dealt.
