Boss Invasions/Random Spawns!

Been thinking about a funny/fun way to make the game more interesting and engaging! random boss spawns all throughout the towns and areas!

 

Ayvondil is an island that is very unseadydangerous right? its meant to be intense and crazy? i haven't really read the story line but im assuming so, lol. anyway, yeah, why dont you show that?

 

So Basically: this suggestion is about really making ayvondil a really interesting map and more engaging!

 

 

Random Spawn

World Chat: WARNING The great Spawn of the Depths has appeared in the East Gate Of Maliat! Go Defeat Him... If you dare!

 

the boss gets spawned there and is just busy killing people around that general area. players from either factions are able to go there and kill the boss. after the boss is dead, any player which was in that area and helped kill the boss has a chance to get an item for it

 

Town Invasion

World Chat: WARNING: The Allmighty Faceless is invading the town of Tlaskoe!

 

this is when a boss actually invades a town and kills players within it. same as spawn, players gotta kill it. anyone who was there helping to kill it has a chance to get a drop.

 

 

Specifics:

  • the bosses will go away after, 30 minutes?(dependent on server populations)
  • each player who helped kill the boss gets a chance at getting the drop (NOT DEPENDANT ON PARTYS and youll see why)
  • To make it more Interesting, the bosses mobs can also come along!
  • it also doesnt always have to be bosses/ but maybe mobs that drop some seriously nice loot for players!

Also: i really want this to be mostly specific to ayvondil because aside it from being the latest map, no one ever really goes there because not much goes on. also, it should serve as a chance for players to not only have fun but get some of the latest and greatest gears :).

This is a great point, people need a better reason to go to ayvondil than just questing :good:

Theyd have to really really pump up boss strength if its in a towm. Not every1 should get the same chance, more dmg you do, more chance you have at getting anything.

nice idea tho ayvondil is a very boring place I only do quest to get rep btw random drops are better or only pro DPS char will appear for it

And people will buy more teleport scrolls in Miracle Shop :blush:

 

Same boss spawns could be Hydra on first island of Norlant Swamps, Avenger (or the other bosses in Avenger Cave) in Nadir

 

Or a big army of Werwolves/Cat people at the villages in new Ayvondil region

The reward system should be like: top10-20 who made most damage on that boss, thats the most fair way (: nice idea i support it, we need some random bosses in warspear to keep game more active

I would also suggest other bosses too, maybe like old sanctuaries bosses. I mean, the idea is great, and it needs more than 2 bosses for more fun, imo. Also not only in Ayvondil, I'd say in every map, there is a chance of spawning.

 

It also reminds me of this.  ;D

About the invasions: Bosses with mobs. If it was only the boss they'd go down fast.

 

I'd also add a community donation thing, who wants donates to a specific town and

the town gets better deffense, stuff like a tower and archers on them etc. To make it

easier in case not so many ppl will come, or if they wanna defeat them fast.

 

Would actually help during war also.

Dude a lot of cool ideas can be added... I hope devs consider them. They would open so many doors and much more options that are more fun than only dungeons and amp. Because that's what the game is about now.

 

Also I just had an idea: Why would the same ol' bosses come? I mean why not NEW BOSSES!! Those bosses could be found only when they randomly spawn in any town, any time, and without pre-warning, and a notification shows up in wchat when it is up. This message shows only the map name, where players need to look for the towns in order to find it.

Basically, these bosses (Faceless and Spawn) are weak already for even one party, imagine on top of that being attacked by tens of people. So, I suggest, if devs would think to add this idea, to create new bosses with mobs that are way cooler and more powerful, specialised only for this event.

It's been months, and I still can't comprehend what happened here. Can anyone explain this?

Joker's shadow x2 spawned in tree of seasons heroic dg at boss area

Hehe I guess he could see that.

 

The reason we don't know exactly. But we assumed that because of a certain bug, "tornado" mobs in that area, spawned as joker shadows as they died. It started with 1, and probably if we continued to kill more, there'd have been many.

Would be really cool to have npc armies attack border villages in irselnort (or small npc raid parties in the first islands) too. In the attacking side there could come a notification for the attack too, so these npc attacks are a perfect moment to attack as players too and maybe finish some quests in enemy territory :D

 

"Legion army sightened in Camp Riff! Defend at all cost!" in elf side

"To the arms legion soldiers! Camp Riff will be soon be in our hands!" in legion side

 

for example :D
