Add Attributes Points on Each Character

Well, it's just an idea to make all character in game have its own personality and more interesting

 

Would be wonderful if developers can add attributes points each gain a level.

The attributes may as follow

STRENGTH (increase melee damage by 1 each point)

STAMINA (increase HP by 12 each point)

DEXTERITY (increase accuracy by 0.5% each point)

AGILITY (increase dodge by 0.2% each point)

INTELLECT (increase magic damage by 1 each point on mage type and increase magic resistance on other class)

WISDOM (increase mana by 2 each point)

 

It design according to the game flow at this moment

 

At the start each class have different characteristic based on 30 pts distribution:

- Bladedancer : STR 8, STA 8, DEX 4, AGI 4, INT 2, WIS 4 (start with increase weapon damage by 10% and total HP by 10%)

- Ranger : STR 4, STA 4, DEX 8, AGI 8, INT 2, WIS 4 (start with increase critical by 25% and dodge by 15%)

- Duid : STR 4, STA 4, DEX 4, AGI 4, INT 5, WIS 9 (start with increase magic damage by 5% and mana by 10%)

 

- Bladedancer : STR 8, STA 8, DEX 4, AGI 4, INT 2, WIS 4 (start with increase weapon damage by 10% and total HP by 10%)

- Ranger : STR 4, STA 4, DEX 8, AGI 8, INT 2, WIS 4 (start with increase critical by 25% and dodge by 15%)

- Duid : STR 4, STA 4, DEX 4, AGI 4, INT 5, WIS 9 (start with increase magic damage by 5% and mana by 10%)

 

 

All inherit bonus ability calculate depend on the gears that wear by the character.

Example if  a mage class has 100 mana then it would be 110 mana (+10% bonus), a rogue with 30% dodge would be 34.5% with class bonus, a ranger with 20% critical chance would be 25% with class bonus, a fighter with 200 attack two handed axe would be 220 attack with class bonus, a fighter with 2000 hp would be 2200 with class bonus, a mage with 200 moon attack would be 210 with class bonus etc.

So class design can be more powerful according their class bonuses if its develop on their main attribute.

 

Then each level will get +4 attributes points to distribute. So total 76 points at level 20.

 

By this way all the same class might have similar skills but they are unique.

It would make the game more interesting

 

Please discuss if you have adjustment of this idea to make it more balance.

Not a bad idea really.  It wouldnt be too imbalanced in your current format except for the fact that ranger and rogue barb and bd druid and shaman all need same bonus.  Don't add to the current imbalances by adding more.

 

With regard to the bonus though I don't think you go far enough slay.  Let's really reward time spent in this game. 

 

Maybe we could see a reward for pvp kills.  These pvp points could be spent on "pvp" skills (all could pick from same skills both MC and FB.) to allow more character modification.  It should take lots of points to buy even one pvp point and millions to reach the max.  Skills would be tactical or defensive in nature to make pvp more than just class balance. 

 

This would serve both the character customization, balance, and end game for Warspear.  It would give us a point besides farm.

Not just arena.  Imagine 10 skills all MC or FB could choose from.  Let's tie in your idea.  Call them passive skills.  Passive skills are always active (like your current armor or weapon skill: 

Augment Strength increases melee damage

Augment Dexterity increases Dodge

Augment Stamina increases Life

Augment Intelligence Increases mana.

Augment Wisdom Increases Ranged damage

 

Then there would be 5 active skills that have immediate effect like current active abilities with an approriate cooldown. 

 

Purge: Clears all form of crowd control spell.  Increased level decreases reuse timer.

Heal self:  instantly regain health by %.  Increases as increase in level.

Mana self: instantly regain mana by %.  Increases as increase in level.

Boost self: Boosts characters stats for small duration.  Increases with level.

DeBuff target: Lowers Targets stats for small duration.  Increases with level.

 

Something like that with all sides able to purchase via pvp points.  A bd with Aug Str 3 Aug 3 Purge 5 would be very different from a DeBuff 4 Boost 3 Heal 4 Bd even with same gears and amp. 

 

One can dream right?  :blush:

Tottaly agree.

Now every1 are the same, only items change stats, its boring.

Attribute points will change the game for better. Also we should gain few AP every lvl.

In some way I agree with this,I think it would be great,but I do hope my ideas on each of us given a choice to choose a clan to get a skill gets an approval.I just feel we will have more unique personality that way,"the choosing a clan" part would help on character building more and also define "us" better.

 

(About how they will do it,i'll leave it to the devs to figure that out :blush: ;D )
