Underwater speed Limit

Since a while, I have been questioning myself if there's  a underwater speed walking limit. I have asked many people, but no one seemed to know the answer. 

 

So..

 

Is there a Underwater Walking Speed limit?

Idk about limits but these are theoretical maximums 

 

Max speed for light armor user

Underwater speed

Base 100%

Calm swimming 10%

Swimming technique 10% for 5 min when using oxygen tank

Underwater ascent 20% when at 1 oxygen

Adaptability 0.5% for every 1 unit missing = 10.5% max

Book 10%

Light boots 25%

Rat minion 25%

Smoked marlin food 15%

Scroll of underwater speeding up 15%

=240,5%

 

Max speed for cloth armor user

Underwater speed

Base 100%

Calm swimming 10%

Swimming technique 10% for 5 min when using oxygen tank

Underwater ascent 20% when at 1 oxygen

Adaptability 0.5% for every 1 unit missing = 10.5% max

cloth boots 22,5%

Rat minion 25%

Idk if seeker skill at max level gives 50% buff aswell

the limit is the highest amount you can stack up

There definitely is a cap for underwater speed, because there is no difference in time when you run with Rat or without it. I think cap might be approximately 200%.

I believe there is a cap too. I have the book and all talents, yet people are as fast as me. I just want to know if I have a wasted book on my character.
