How to participate: Record a video in English from the game on any topic that seems interesting to you: it can be a regular 'let's play' where you and your friends and guildmates have fun, maybe a guide or an educational video, maybe news or something otherwise informational, or perhaps a humorous or comedy video. Let your imagination free; Upload the video to your YouTube channel, in public access; Create a separate topic in this section of the forum and attach a link to your video there; Specify in your post the nickname and game server of the character on which you would like to receive a reward in case of victory. Video requirements: This should not be just a game video, your comments are required, as well as a meaningful gameplay: passing a dungeon, fighting a boss, completing a chain of tasks, participating in a battle for territories, etc. Simply put - it should have a plot; The video must not contain obscene language or information that directly or indirectly contributes to the violation of the Warspear Online license agreement. This applies not only to the author of the video, but also, for example, the world chat, etc; The length of the video should be no more than 20 minutes (can be less); The quality of the video - at least 720p; Music, editing, effects, included webcam - at your discretion; Filming should be done using programs for recording video from the screen of a PC, phone, or tablet (OBS, Bandicam, Screencast, etc.); The gameplay must be completely or almost entirely recorded from the character on which you want to receive the reward; The video must be published no earlier than 07/30/21. Videos published before the competition will not be eligible to participate; The use of fragments or materials from videos of other authors is allowed only with an indication of authorship in cases where their use is permissible within the video format. Example: you are making a historical video about the updates of past years and you need to take old footage from other authors, because you cannot get them in another way. But do not overdo it, if the video is for the most part not of the author's material, it will not be accepted into the competition. Which criteria will be evaluated: Plot. The video should have an interesting beginning, a heated development and a logical ending. A well thought-out script can contribute to the formation of the correct emotional perception of the video; Format. Creating the appropriate mood. If the video is meant to be entertaining - more dynamics, frequent frame cuts, upbeat music, more editing / inserts / memes; if the video is informative - a thoughtful detailed explanation of the described subject of the guide, fewer distracting elements of the montage, more tables, additional screenshots and visual demonstration of the commentary, etc; Editing / Effects. The skilled use of editing and effects can significantly transform the visuals, as well as help to create accents, heighten emotional perception and, to summarize, make the video much better. Since high-quality editing is incredibly difficult, the jury will not put too much emphasis on this point. But if you manage to use this toolkit beautifully, it will undoubtedly be a plus; Relevance. Even if the Norlant Swamp is a wonderful location, which at the time of its appearance was extremely loved by players, by now it has been explored almost far and wide, so, for example, it would not be very advisable to prepare a guide on it. Terms of the competition: Submissions are accepted until 23:59 on August 12. After the specified time, it will become impossible to publish a topic in the competition section. And I'm still not 100% happy with the final idea.
