mage staffs after update- skill cooldown?

Well my mage is lvl 14. Anyway I've been shopping for a few new staff as mines lvl 12 and the lvl13 ones are stupidly overpriced.

What stats should I be looking for?, I think I read penetration was a good stat and have seen some with it. Just been a while.

 

Since update the new "spell cooldown" I see on some of these lvl14 staffs, is it any good?

Is it even noticeable?

I see the same staff with crit in place of the new cooldown..who can't use more crit

Just looking for advice

The cool down attribute is only for the priests or druids. Mages staff always have penetration.

Now there aren't anything as mage staffs or priest staffs. They are all just staffs now.

My mage is pvp char i use full arena equip after update i bought priest staff i arena shop and im using it still it has same dmg as mage staff only lowers ur acc down buts n dot a big deal i say do skils faster.
