Low level Arena

I understand that low level arenas are not the main focus of AIGRIND.

But i see no reason to kill it.

It has a lot of active players ( atleast on BR - TOURMALINE) and a lot of people spend money on low level characters.

It is a different type of environment and its fun.

 

With the most recent changes to the arena reward system, it has become almost impossible to max a low level character.

 

For example :

 

A lvl 14 amulet costs 17k imperials of greatness , and at lvl 14 you get 3400 per tournament.

So you need to win 5 whole tournaments just to get 1 ACCESSORY, that is absurd.

 

I understand that those prices were inflated to prevent people from buying them, and using on high level characters.

But you have other options, either :

a) dont scale itens on the arena to max level from that bracket.

b) leave low level arena out of those changes, and have the accessories back to where they were.

 

 

 

Another huge problem that i see, is how the Event Taverns brackets have been distributed.

 

10-14 and 16-20 ??????

Level 16 are in no way capable of fighting lvl 18-20, unless they completely outgear the 18-20, and even then, its unlikely.

 

Please do it in a way that makes us want to go in there and have fun.

 

Either :

4-10

13-17

18-20

21-24

25-32

 

or

 

1-17

18-32

 

Having people without expert skills competing people with expert skills just kills it for everyone , makes no sense.

 

Let me know if my request makes sense to you guys and if possible, let the devs know.

Those are really simple changes that would change the game for the better for a lot of people.

Completely agree, last update almost destroyed low lvl arena. Now old chars will just dominate and making it impossible to make any progress. Sadly, on russian side , staff just ignores all questions about this, and leave no comments about this absurd situation. Don't think it will be different here.

It's extremely hard to get even a 1 handed weapon for arena and even harder to get armor. Im lvl 26

You've got a point there. Maybe we could only scale items depending on its arena level.

For example: I am a lvl 32 with a lvl 14 greatness ring, but as lvl 14 is part of the lvl 17 bracket, it should only scale to lvl 17.

 

Also keep in mind that runes and crystals don't scale with the level.

Yeah, I see what you mean. But also, lvl 16 is too strong to compete with lvl 10 for example, and maybe too weak against others with specialist skills. 

 

Adding the mechanic of scaling items to the taverns could be an option for this problem.

But it could be 13-17, level 14s and 16s are pretty much the same.

 

Or 1-17 with level scaling.

 

 

 

And i agree with you that itens should only scale to the max level of the item's bracket.
