Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de

This one, with above two, is my top3 - shows that I can't wait for every week. Or rather, only three shows on this list that I have watched every episode of so far (school sucks, yo).

So what's special about this one? A highschool literature club one day gets super powers. Their lives continue like usual. In episode 9 there is some action where characters fight using their powers. After that they go back to normal again.

This is harem show, but it's quite unique. The main character is likeable as hell, despite being chuuni he's surprisingly mature and responsible, and wins a girl in second episode.

I'll mention art here because it's done by Trigger. You know them? The people who made stuff like Kill la Kill and Inferno Cop. It's a pretty good art.

Done.

I feel like if that anime is incomplete.

I've been trying to write this twice, I was forcibly stopped twice.

So here's a half assed Winter 2015 review. Season was pretty mediocre all in all.

Yuri Kuma Arashi - lesbian bears, schoolgirls, suffering. Probably my AOTS, but that's not saying much because I forgot about this already.

Shinmai Maou no Testament - hey you like that shit called DxD? Yeah this is something better. Watch BDs, if you know what that even means. Second season confirmed for Fall 2015.

Saenai Heroine - a total loser meets a girl. Instead of trying to seduce her, he makes a VN about her. Obviously his super attractive female friends help him with that. Second season confirmed.

Koufuku Graffiti - cute girls having orgasms while eating. Made by Shaft.

Death Parade - every week two people wake up in a bar and have to play games with their lives at stake.

Spring 2015 soon, much better than this one.

Any recommendation of which animes are worth watching or must-watch?

Arigatou gazaimasu!

Try "Clannad", its a really good anime you'd probably enjoy. It has a season 2 if you enjoy it called "Clannad: After Story".

Or maybe try out a new one that came out recently, its called "Ore Monogatari", defiantly worth a try.

I approve of Ore Monogatari.

I'll probably get the Spring review up tomorrow.

It's time

SPRING 2015 REVIEW

May contain nuts, salt, spoilers from up to third episode. This time around, I'm listing them from my most favorite.

I will update this list as I catch up on shows. What you're looking at right now is only 60% of what I intend it to be. Or 90%, depending on how bad things end up being.

Kekkai Sensen

A boy called Leonardo comes to New York City to get information about organization called Libra. A portal to other world has opened there, and now monsters roam freely, however they live in peace with humans. Libra's job is to keep balance between species, and if they're being disobedient, beat them to a pulp.

So yeah, I like it. It's like a crazy mix of Baccano, X-men, Hellboy, and other stuff. But what I love about this is characters. Supernatual stuff is happening? Who cares, let's keep drinking and playing chess. Main character gets a super power? He gets a job delivering pizzas. Just watch the ED, it's magnificent.

Really, this is fantastic. If you have to watch one thing, let it be this.

Ninja Slayer

A half-dead man is about to be killed off, but a power of NINJA awakens inside him, and he swears to kill all NINJAS from SŌKAIYA SYNDICATE, who murdered his wife and son.

It's a show about very intense ninja fights, in every episode (except one so far), the protagonist, NINJA SLAYER, clashes with various ninjas. Fights are very intense, with inspiring battlecries like "YEEART!". Later on three cute girls help him win fights.

The art is "unique" and might at first confuse everyone who isn't familiar with another Trigger's masterpiece, Inferno Cop. However, that's because they set their priorities right - girls look beautiful, and OST is amazing. Every episode has a new Ending song.

I take what I said back, you HAVE to watch this. Just don't drop it too fast, see first four episodes before judging it.

YEEART!

Plastic Memories

It's 20XX, robots (called "Giftia") are fully functional and are basically indistinguishable from real humans. However the catch is, their hard drive only allows them to function for 10 years, any day more and things can go bad. The story follows a guy named Tsukasa, who gets a job where together with robot buddy Isla they have to recover Giftia before 10 years pass.

So, I just finished watching this, and maybe my memories of others shows faded, that's why it's so high. But it really deserves this place.

Premise is really simple, and it's obvious from the start how the show will end, at what event etc. But the entire adventure, and how will the final event play out is a huge mystery. To not spoil much, I'll say that I am satisfied. It's not the "perfect" happy ending I wish for, but I know the happy ending would not be a good ending.

So uh, I'll say more about the show. First four episodes are about Tsukasa and Isla doing their job poorly, fifth one basically shows you why they have to do their job, and what happens if they fail, next six are basically back to the routine, but with less working, and the last one is the ending. I'll say that episode 5 is easily the worst part of the show, they tried to go somewhere, but failed, and I'm glad they went back to silly stuff.

It's really refreshing to see show that gives you something that you crave for entire season in others, and you get about 20% of what you signed for. Here, I entered with low expectations, and I've been blown away. Just wow.

Do watch this. Isla a cute. CUTE.

Houkago no Pleiades

A girl called Subaru likes watching stars. Suddenly she becomes magical girl with her childhood friend and three other people. They have to recover engine parts for some alien, but a big bad guy stops them from doing so.

I LOVE MAHOU SHOUJO. I really do, there is something about this genre that makes me feel at home. But even if you don't think the same, it's a fun show.

Each episode keeps getting better, episode 6 being the "shit gets real" turning point. It's so good I'm moving this up few tiers.

Etotama

A cat is trying to join the Chinese Zodiac! However to do that, she has to defeat current twelve Chinese Zodiacs.

A FANTASTIC comedy that keeps getting better every week. Fun and memorable characters, relaxed protagonist, no romance, pure fun. And fights! Fights use CG, but it's really good. First fight is very intense, you can feel the stakes, the thrill, the "holy shit she's gonna die".

It might be a coincidence, but my Chinese Zodiac is also best girl, dess dess.

Yamada-kun

Titular character, Yamada, deliquent, trips on stairs and falls on a girl. They change bodies for a day! Later on Yamada discovers his power to switch bodies with anyone, as long as he "trips" on them. This can also be chained to achieve interesting body swaps. Personally I'm a really big fan of body-swaps, it's always a nice plot device to push things forward, but it can easily backfire on the user.

So, I'm at episode 4, and so far only two of seven witches appeared. I honestly don't know what's up with the witches, because they seem to be normal.

But outside of plot, this is fantastic. It's a really fresh breath of air into the romcom genre, where they don't beat around the bush on the issue of love, the protag isn't even dense. Oh, yeah, mild fanservice too, really great show, I should've picked it up earlier.

Punchline

When protagonist sees two lewd things (panties, bras, undressed girls), a meteor crashes on Earth and wipes out humanity. Even if he restrains himself, it will crash on New Year's Eve, so he has to do all he can to prevent this catastrophe.

This show. It was written by one of my favorite writers, Uchikoshi. Man, he doesn't disappoint. What you might think is a shitty ecchi show, is actually a very deep story full of plot twists. There was a twist in episode 6, that well, was pretty much obvious. But there was also another twist that nobody expected. Can't wait to see how it ends.

Oh yeah, the girls are cute too.

Ore Monogatari

Gouda Takeru is a highschool freshman. His main defining trait is that he's HUGE. One day he saves a cute girl and a romance story begins!

This is so sweet that I'm getting diabetes. It's aimed for girls but I'd rather be called gay than drop this.

To be honest I don't know what to say about this. It's just good.

Danmachi

Blah blah blah RPG monsters friendship.

It's like SAO but good. Okay, it's comparable to first cour of SAO, which means that it has its problems due to Gary Stu protagonist (who ironically has Kirito's VA), but it's still an enjoyable show. I mean, it even has the protagonist use dual-wield to defeat a big minotaur, solo of course.

Have you seen those blue boob strings that appear everywhere recently? Yeah, it's from this.

Actually hold on. From episode 8 on, the main party starts going to "middle floors", which actually implement new mechanics, like "High Rank" in Monster Hunter or lower stratums in Etrian Odyssey. I love this kind of stuff, because it forces you to keep getting better instead of just giving enemies more health and damage, to counterbalance you getting better equipment. If in second season they get to "end floors" which are G-rank or 6th stratum tier, damn this will get hype as shit. I'd move this up but I can't because above shows are still better.

Re-kan

A comedy about ghosts.

I really like this show and recommend it but it has it's issues.

Urawa no Usagi-chan

Oh man, this show is bad. It's an advertisement for a city, if that doesn't tell you it's bad, then let me tell you, it's bad.

BUT, the girls are really cute (albeit a bit slow), and I'd be devil to drop this, because while production wise it's horrible, I still think it manages to keep me entertained for those three minutes every week.

If you were to marathon all 12 episodes though? No, don't bother.

Ninja best girl.

Season 2 or higher:

Teekyuu

It's a show about Tennis.

Go watch it already. It has TWO seasons airing right now (4th and a spin-off), and 5th season will air this summer.

GO WATCH TEEKYUU

IT'S AOTYAY

DO IT ALREADY

Yahari Oregairu

It's a show about a total loser who saves everyone's asses like Batman. Too based.

First season was a good comedy, this one is drama.

But hey, new best girl, rejoice.

Danna ga Nani

It's a show about an otaku and his wife. Mostly. I like it.

Kiniro Mosaic

It's a show about cute foreign girls doing cute things in Japan.

One thing I hate about anime is how 13 year olds look like high schoolers, and 17 year olds look like middle schoolers. This being the case of the latter.

Pretentious garbage full of pedo fanservice and too deep for you supernatural themes. Also a lot of kanji jokes which are lost in translation.

I have no idea what makes it good. But it is.

anime :)

They did really well with the anime adaptation, they animated the key scenes perfectly. The first execution of full counter, Meliodas vs Gilthunder spear throwing scene, made me drivvle with excitement (*¤*) . Bazyl fight festival arc was my favourite by far.

I cant wait to see what they do with the current demon clan arc in the manga, the ending of the anime shows they have faith that there'll be a second season. Maybe around early 2017, cuz the manga is doing really well, but hasn't gone that far yet(daaaaamn). Soooooonnnnnnn
