Friends!

 

At long last, the incredible update 9.0 is finally here and will soon hit all your Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS and Linux devices! To remind you, two new classes await you, so be ready for truly legendary adventures in Arinar. But don’t forget that versions for different platforms may come out with a delay. 

 

Skills

 

We have already told you about the new classes and their skills in the announcement, so if you’ve missed it, we recommend you to carefully read through all the information in it, there are plenty of important and interesting details!

At the same time, we didn’t forget about the old skills, so in this update we will fix some errors and change the mechanic of the skills with the “Accuracy” parameter which reduced accuracy to zero regardless of the current value of the target’s parameter, but now accuracy will be lowered depending on the level of the skill.

 

Base: 5-15-25-35-45%

Expert: 15-25-35-45%

 

Below are presented correct descriptions of changed skills
 

Rogue

Strike, reducing the “Accuracy” parameter of the opponent for some time.

 

Warden

наказание.png Punishment

Strike, reducing the “Accuracy” parameter of the opponent for some time.

 

Mage

ослепляющий огонь.png Blinding Fire

Magical attack that deals damage to the target and all opponents within one yard of the target and reducing the “Accuracy” parameter of the main target for some time.

 

And one more clarification about the “Accuracy” parameter — now its value can be negative.

 

Also the following skills that were not performing quite correctly were fixed:

  • Fixed the mechanics of the expert skill of the Warlock "Dark Seal". Now its effect extends to all skills with healing elements (except guild skills) and also to analogous items.
  • Fixed the mechanics of the guild skill "Magic Globe of the Guild". Now its effect extends to creatures summoned with skills.
  • Fixed the error that caused the Druid’s “Invigorating Stream” expert skill to  choose its target incorrectly.

Faction islands

 

Main changes to the starting islands were described in the announcement. However, now is the time to tell you about the rewards in Dungeons and from bosses.

 

On each island you can receive full sets of unique equipment of 7/9/11 levels.

 

Dungeons

 

Captured Outpost / Spider Kingdom / Smugglers' Camp / Mortalrium (recommended level - 7):

- level 7 weapons, belts and accessories of unique rarity class

 

Temple of Defectors / Abode of the Serpent / Stinking Lair / Fiery Crypt (recommended level - 9):

- level 9 weapons, belts and accessories of unique rarity class

 

Bone Cave / Deserted Mines / Chapel of Sectarians / Forbidden Tunnel (recommended level - 11):

- level 11 weapons, belts and accessories of unique rarity class

 

Mini-bosses

 

Pirate Captain / Druid / Spider Queen / Gray Elf Matriarch:

level 7 armor (head and arms) of unique rarity class

 

Wolf Leader / Bear Clan Berserker / Ogre / Sir Kevin:

level 7 armor (torso and legs) of unique rarity class

 

Forsaken Commander / Pointy-Eared Spy / Lord of the Orphan Lake / Kruzahr:

level 7 armor (head and arms) of unique rarity class

 

Undead Bear / Deathdancer / Troglodyte / Garraz the Confessor:

level 7 armor (torso and legs) of unique rarity class

 

Black Unicorn / Fat Torar / Necroconstruct / Tuckoot:

level 7 armor (head, torso, arms and legs) of unique rarity class

 

Irselnort

 

Having played through the updated starting islands, as many know, you will travel to Irselnort, that too has changed for the better!

We would like to note that completing the island is overall faster and you will need less time to reach high level content. Below are the details of what’s coming in the update 9.0.

 

Firstly, Irselnort will have quest markers on the map, and quest counters will be significantly reduced. Secondly, the drop chances of quest items will be raised and respawn times of target monsters and interactive objects will be lowered.

Ayvondil

 

And of course we didn’t forget about Ayvondil — its walkthrough will also become much simpler. In particular, reputation can be received as a reward for successfully completing guild events on the first four sectors:

 

Filth’s Dungeons event

  • 60 reputation points with “Maliat Elves” for the first stage; 
  • 120 reputation points with “Maliat Elves” for the second stage.

Lords of the Depths event

  • 60 reputation points with “Tlalocs” for the first stage; 
  • 120 reputation points with “Tlalocs” for the second stage. 

Grove of Black Elm event

  • 60 reputation points with “Shadders of Mara'kosh” / “Garou Anzu-ihri” for the first stage; 
  • 120 reputation points with  “Shadders of Mara'kosh” / “Garou Anzu-ihri” for the second stage.

Rusty Wastelands

  • 60 reputation points with “Fauns of Pelion” / “Trolls of Tom-Lugu” for the first stage; 
  • 120 reputation points with “Fauns of Pelion” / “Trolls of Tom-Lugu” for the second stage.

 

Also keep in mind that the reward for the events “Music of Magic” and “Wild Hunt” now are only awarded to characters of level 13 or above.

 

There will be more reputation in the “Rotting Garden”, “Termitary”, “Tree of the Seasons”, “Technopolis” Dungeons on the easy, normal and hard difficulty levels. In addition, the daily limit of reputation will increase to 600 units. 

 

Easy - 30 reputation units

Normal - 60 reputation units

Hard - 120 reputation units

 

Craft

 

Some changes and completely new jobs to create melee weapons are waiting for you in the craft, because all new level 10-26 two-handed maces will have the Magic power parameter as the first bonus, and Physical power parameter will be in the second place. 

 

Freeing up character names

 

Warriors in the Arinar are getting more, so a large number of inactive character names will be free with the update 9.0! Pay attention to this moment when creating a new hero and check the names that you have been waiting for a long time, perhaps one of them will now be available! From now on, the system will always check characters that have been inactive for some time, and automatically their nicknames will be freed up.

 

Achievements 

 

Some achievements will update due the changes of starting island. Old achievements on leading an entire group of lower level characters through the Dungeons of friendly faction will change to new “Senior Friend”. The main goal will be leading an entire group through the all floors of Berengar's Tower Dungeon. Due to this change the difficulty will increase and the reward will be 4 Badges of Glory at once.

 

Those who have already completed their old achievement will not need to do it again, and the amount of Badges of Glory will automatically be 4.

 

In addition, the goal in achievements for high-speed passing the Dungeons of the faction islands has changed.

 

And 10 legendary achievements will be added for each new class. So hurry up to fill in your name in the history of Arinar!

 

Music

 

The musical accompaniment will change a little with update 9.0, because new sounds will be added for some of the character's actions:

  • summon a monster, 
  • set interactive traps,
  • magic/physical attack/healing (different for the light and dark side),
  • ranged/melee attack,
  • set totem,
  • buff/debuff.

A new theme music will also be added, which will turn on after the character's death by default and stop after the character is revived.

When you begin your journey through the starting islands, don't forget that special sets are made to help you as much as possible in the most difficult battles! Novice Templar's Outfit и Novice Chieftain's Outfit will be added in the Miracle Shop with update 9.0. They contain equipment, weapon and useful items, as well as incredible costumes for these classes.

The most powerful minions:

 

Summon Fierce Bear (tank)

- main skill - aggression;

- when auto-attacking, it has a chance to apply bleeding to the target, which will cause periodic physical damage. When auto-attacking a target with bleeding, the minion recovers 15% of the maximum health points;

- the bear instantly deals 130% increased Physical Damage and has a chance to stun the target for 4 seconds. The stun chance depends on the target's current health - the lower the health level, the higher the stun chance;

- passively restores a certain amount of health every 5 seconds;

- has a fairly large amount of health points.

 

Summon Flaming Lion (support)

- applies to the player a skill that restores 35% of the player's maximum health points;

- applies a scorching aura to the player. The aura is removed when any damage is taken. A player/monster that deals damage to a player with an aura will receive retaliatory damage that depends on the character's physical and magical power;

- applies an effect on the player that increases physical and magical power;

- passively restores a certain amount of health every 5 seconds.

Potions and scrolls:

  • Legendary Life Potion
  • Legendary Potion of Power

and also precious bars!

 

Gifts

 

The appearance of new heroes is a significant day for whole Arinar! In honor of this event, the great Gods decided to give all the dwellers useful items both in battle and in life  throughout the month. Each character will receive a Treasure Chest when first entering the game:

  • Extra Pocket, 
  • Elixir of Knowledge, 
  • Hair Color, 
  • Minion Cache, 
  • 5 Life Scrolls,
  • 5 Teleportation Scrolls.

Other fixes and changes

  • The number of slots for new characters has increased - now you can have up to 10 heroes on one account
  • Increased the base value of the "Magic Power" bonus for all one-handed maces by 20% an average
  • Removed all minions from Gladiators’ shop
  • Fixed a bug when a crown would disappear during the Mermen Trials event if the character who was carrying it died from lack of oxygen
  • The panel with buffs in the block with information about the character has been increased to 3 rows (8 buffs in each row)

Finally this corrected after 1 year. No more Zeus lvl2 got drop in wchat 🤣🤣 time to level it up lvl13 and using for drop

A lot of nice QoL fixes but still nothing that shows us the time remaining for potions. How hard is it?

 

On the new content: me like. I gotta applaud the skill design, cool and fun mechanics.

I also very much like the fact that you're revising older content, maybe time to revise guild tournaments rewards at some point?:unknw:

I´d also like to see rework of amplification system, I hate the fact that money plays the biggest role in the strenght of a hero. Having good gear and skill is one thing, but you don´t get anywhere without amplification. Yes, you can purchase sign from other players but it after all, it doesn´t matter who pays. Behind every strongest hero there´s huge amounts of money spent.

 

I know this is never going to change, since this is a huge cash cow but one can still hope, I guess...

this is worrying.

does this refers to low level character or level doesn't matter? because i have a couple max level characters that i don't use much

also how frequently does the system do that check? once a month? every 6 months? once a year?

i guess it is targeted at 1-3lvl chars that are being made and never logged again as their "owners" try to sell the name

For the next two classes, please give the Forsaken a physical bruiser, like the Blade Dancer, who can use two 1h axes and heavy armor. Just throwing this out there, in case you guys haven't decided yet :angel:

WHYYYYYYYYYYYY, they were nice free to play option why you remove the only none chest minions, if you remove them from arena shop atleast put them in guild shop or in pirate shop let us have some free to play minions.
