Shadow Sphere question

Does the Shadow Sphere damage also increase with maximum mana? Example: If i had 1 mana and 300 mana, and the same Magic Damage, the damage increases?

"damage dealt depends on the character's current energy level" so more max mana only affects it if you have full mana

I know this part of the skill

I asked this because in the dummy, i was dealing a certain amount of damage. Then i used a mana cristal. When i tried again, i dealt a little more damage. (Both times i was with maximum mana)

if you used mana crystal and had max mana that means you had more mana so you dealt more damage

having more max mana mean you have more current mana if your mana is full
