A physical Charmer has the highest damage of the game.

Change my mind.

Obs: I can prove it.

Here's the prove.

Using this as example:

Warspear Calculator - Full CDR, Critical and Accuracy Physical Charmer

Focus only on what is written in the link.

Now let's imagine:

The Wolf attacks every 2 seconds.

In 5/5, it lives for 30 seconds.

So in 5/5, it does 15 attacks.

Ignoring Penetration, Critical, Physical Defense, Dodge, Block, Parry, etc, it deals 15.000 physical damage (in total).

Here enters the Cooldown Reduction:

With 35-50% CDR, the cooldown of Call is 19-22 seconds. Let's say it is 20s.

So, for 10 seconds you have 2 Wolfs at the same time.

In 1 minute, you can summon 3 Wolfs:

The first Wolf will do 15K damage.

The second Wolf will do 15K damage.

The third will do 10K damage (because the other 5K are done after completing 1min).

So in 1 minute you do 40K damage.

Now with a Grand Relic of the Continuous Effect:

The Wolfs will live for 42 seconds.

42/2 = 21

Now the Wolf do 21K damage (in total)

The interval where 2 Wolves live now is 22 seconds.

Let's change the time range to 1 minute and 30 seconds.

The first Wolf will do 21K damage.

The second Wolf will do 21K damage

The third Wolf will do 21K damage

The fourth Wolf will do 15K damage.

In 1m30s you do 78K damage.

BUT, there is the Summoner Skill, the new Charmer's expert skill that increases the time of the Wolf in 160-180% (i don't remember)

And it's combo with Goading, that increases 80% damage.

And his base skill that decreases Defense.

So yeah, that's a lot of damage.

I think that a good build for it is:

Call 5/5: The main source of damage.

Weakness 5/5: For maximum damage output.

Opression 3/5: I don't know, i think that Prism would be useless (because it's a pure magic damage skill) and Warrior Healing' would be low.

Summoner Skill 4/4: Increase Wolf's lifetime and damage with Goading.

Knowledge 4/4: Extra physical damage.

Eye of Darkness 4/4More survivability and precision.

Goading 1/4: Just to increase the damage of the Wolf.

Ignoring penetration and mob's defence is a huge mistake.
Wolf's damage doesn't equal to charmer's. It is: base (depends on level of character & skill) + 75% pdd.
Also pets can easily die from AoE skills.
You haven't compared damage with +10 hunters (in calculator you have +10 charmer).
Hunters and rogues have huge instant damage (and charmer's instant damage is one wolf...), so until boss (with AoE 😉) they are more useful.

They aren't instant damage :v

But it's still a big damage to a support

And remember, this is only the Dog's damage.

There is the Charmer basic attacks and skills too

There onli one build for dd - fury. U ignor all, what do charmer bad dd. And else to have this dd u need very much time for sumoning 3 dogs, because of it relic for time of life - trash for PVE. Fury charmer have 50% crit, bust for dd (from fury), and more easy for realization damage.

P.s. sory for mistakes, i didn't use translaitor and didn't check grammar.

you need calculate the deffence, may be most op flat dmg but u need calculate enemy deffence

the attack boost duration is equal to goading's. but it can work if the target dosent have insane deffence as dagan (sea tramp's mytical boss) does, 80% deff (23k) nd 33% resil/dmg redu(i need check wich of the ones is)

Yea, but extremely low Energy regen.

It will be a miracle if it can trigger its speed skill twice in a battle of 5 minutes.

Changing crystals loses about 12% cd and 4.1% crit for 51 energy regen so i guess thats good

I don't think it's good to lvl up Goading just to increase the buff duration...

The Eye of Darkness' accuracy is better and Knowledge extra damage and stun is good too.

It's the same as a Warlock that lvl up Stone Body just for the healing.

And it can disturb the tank job.

I don't know if the Goading aggro time increases per level, if it increases, the aggro time is good (at least 10s) and YOU are the tank of the party, it's ok to change Knowledge for this.

But with 40% CD, maybe it would be possible to use it without interval or with a really short interval.
