Drakoslayd 645
Class proficiencies would allow some classes such as DeathKnights and blade dancers fight much better with swords than other 1-handed weapons.
Khrone 648
How it would work? Every class would have a different type of Proficiency? Like: DK's proficiency: 15% of the physical damage is transformed into magical damage. (If the weapon have 100 physical damage, you would have 100 physical damage and 15 magical damage) Or it's like Weapons Passive? So both BD and DK would have the same buffs? Cons: It only works with classes with more than 1 type of weapon and armor. Example: Mace proficiency in DKs: Normal, because every Tank DK uses maces. Mace proficiency in Charmers: It would benefit only the mace users. Staff proficiency in Locks: They only can use it. Or you could add some especifics buffs for each class, example: If a Mage uses Staffs, they have a CD buff. If a Druid uses Staffs, they have Magical Damage buff. If a Warlock uses Staffs, they have a Penetration buff. Or it could be "Role Proficiency" Examples: Warrior: Physical damage buff when using 2Hs. Tank: (Basically the Shield's passive) Healer: Magical Damage buff (or a specific thing, like +5% Healing Power) Magician: Cooldown buff (or Magical Damage buff if the Healer's buff is Healing Power) Ranged: Precision Buff Meelee (Daggers, 1H Swords and Axes): Attack Speed buff Mixed (Mace) : 5% Physical Damage and 10% Magical Damage buff. I was thinking it would be fixed for classes. Example: DeathKnights gain 50% more damage and 15% armor penatration when using spears and 50% more dmg and 20% faster attk speed with 1-handed swords
