Skills and pk related questions

Hello, despite my join date I'm probably still what you'd consider new because I just tested the game and didn't get far.

But, as I find the graphics appealing, I thought I'd give it another shot...

Curious about some things though!

1.  What are some suggestions on skill builds?

2.  Would you consider this game newbie friendly?

3.  How does pvp and pking work in this game?

I cant answer all your question.

But about skill build in the 'class discussion' part of this forum you can find of every class threads about the skill build. So i suggest you look over there to find your answer.

Thank you, and looking back perhaps I should specify more on my questions.

1.  What are some skill builds suggestions on priests as full support (that is only a little bit of fighting if any and mostly assisting with healing and the like)

2.  By newbie friendly I mean is it easy enough to catch on to how the game and the world works and doesn't require intense mentoring and reading up on everything?

As in I can just login and play and I'll be able to progress?

3.  How does pk and pvp work?  Examples: open world, faction based, only certain areas, arenas, duels....?

I can tell that there's opposing factions from the forum posts and just from the character creation screen, so how does that come into play with pking and pvp?

Can people from my faction attack me?

For full support you need at least lvl 5 shield and lvl 5 heal. Then you have 4 points left (on lvl 20) to spend on other skills.

I dont know exactly what would be wise then. For more easy leveling you need to do some damage.

But you can later on buy an item (book of oblivion) and reset and rearrange you skill points. So if you make mistakes now, you can errange them later on.

I dont know what pk is. So cant help you with that.

The only place at lower levels where you can pvp is in arena, but there it is 2v2, 3v3 or 5v5.

On first isle where you will be till around lvl 12, there is no opposing faction. So there you can quest save. Since you are a priest, other chosen and elves cant attack you. Mountain Clans (MCs) and forsaken can do that (and will do that on 2nd isle).

If you were able to do some quests en equip you're weapon you can learn during the game.

On which server do you play?

I dont consider US-ElfChosen newbie friendly. (im from McSaken) You`ll notice this lateron.

As for PvP, dont get your hopes up. Its split into 2 specific area`s.

1- PvP cave, located directly under Nadir. (controlled by McSakens)

2-PvP spot, located north-east of Nadir.(controlled by ElfChosen)

As for targetting, you can only attack/be attacked by the opposite faction.

You`ll only be able to attack your own faction when your in the Arena.

Oh, and this game is simpely to understand! Advise I`m gonna give you is this:

Be sure to get some friends, this will help you alot trough playing Warspear.

Enough said, be off with you! Hope to see you around PvP someday (:

Cheers,

Male

Only two spots are open faction pvp?

Interesting...

I confess that I tend to not be very good at pvp and I tend to be more pve (player versus environment).

So pvp isn't essential in leveling?

And maybe I should make a McSaken alt to see what the difference is.

I also have a ranger going, mostly because while I want to have a support character I don't know anyone yet.

Thank you!
