Sharpleaf Berries

Can anyone tell me where to find the sharpleaf berries for the quest "Magical Components" which is picked up from the druid Yan-Viayn in the Dawn Forest? I have looked for an hour and gotten all the thistle I need in every green zone, but have not been able to find sharpleaf berries anywhere.

They are north of the town (probably) in bushes with red berries

Those are barberry bushes used for an earlier quest and I can't interact with them.

Finally found them in Sparkling Wood! They look just like those barberry bushes.
