Choice between seeker and mage

Heya!

At the beginning I would like to point out that I have the funds to fully equip a given character.
I'm thinking about choosing between seeker and mage. Which of these characters is doing better when it comes to:
- solo content,

- usefulness in a group,
- endgame ( dungeon, raids etc),

- pvp (1vs1 / group / war).

I would be grateful if anyone could help.

Tbh I think

- solo content -> seekers

- usefulness in a group -> mages

- endgame (dungeons -> mages, raids -> seeker)

- pvp (group -> mages, 1v1 -> seeker)

 

I could give a very long detailed explanation for each as would be required for some.

But I'll leave it at a "current endgame favours seekers slightly" as I don't have much time

Mages are more fun though
