Warriors!

 

It is finally the time of the World Creation Day! Cold winds of Chernobog are already whirling over the Snow Boundary, so hurry and don’t let the master of cold and dark ruin the celebration. Run to the messengers that send to the winter island and don’t forget to wear a hat!

 

In the announcement we’ve went over events, dungeons, attractions and other things in detail, and now it’s time to learn about the rewards, gifts and some changes to be introduced in update 8.2.

 

Please keep in mind that versions for different platforms may be released with a delay!

 

 

Holiday quests

 

The story line of quests will help you reveal the secret about Chernobog’s death, but try not to freeze to death in the piercing cold that he enveloped the island with. And as a reward for your bravery and completing the entire quest line, you’ll receive "His Kittyness" and "Be my guest!" Smileys.

 

Don’t forget to clear out the island of ice monsters every day, collect North Runes and fulfill the plan of the forest witch - for that you will be handsomely rewarded with a random gift.

 

Dungeons

 

Seven icy caves are awaiting courageous heroes.Try to find a way to return sanity to the ice giant, to gain his support in the battle against Chernobog, or, alternatively, defeat the giant to take the treasure he’s so fiercely guarding!

 

And in the refuge of Waftrutnir hidden just incredibly valuable rewards! In the ice Dungeons you can find unique weapons with a new Piercing attack bonus, cloaks of the Ice Queen and Aquilon, as well as hundreds of other unique items of equipment. But remember that this giant, even after losing his reason, absolutely does not want to part with treasures!

Piercing Attack bonus - allows the character to ignore physical and magical defense of the enemy with a specified chance during an auto attack (a successful piercing attack is shown with a “+” sign after the damage value of hit).

 

Additional changes:

• 2 times increased the value of the Rage bonus in the weapon
• increased the value of the Magic power bonus in accessories of Aquilon

Tournament guild event on a GvG-territory “Harvest of Souls”

 

Souls of the slain warriors sustain Chernobog’s power, and the Snow Boundary has been infested by too many of his helpers, who terrify the entire island and reap the harvest of souls of fallen heroes. Your guild needs to exterminate as many of those monsters as you can, and get to the most dangerous of them. That’s how you can prove the strength of your guild to White Beard and receive the highest reward!

Guild event on a dedicated territory “Stronghold of Mara”

 

Behind three lines of defence stands the tower with Chernobog’s wife — the vicious Mara Death. She commands the main force of the dark god. 

 

 

Destroy the gates to get to the powerful ice queen, because her death will weaken Chernobog. Remember, the closer you can get to Mara, the more treasure you will receive.

 

1st stage: Jewelry Box of Mara Death - 1 pc.

 

2nd stage: Jewelry Box of Mara Death - 2 pc.

 

3rd stage: Jewelry Box of Mara Death - 3 pc.

Additionally, for each stage you will receive the Unprecedented Dexterity buff, that increases the skill cooldown speed by 4% (max 4 buffs - 16%).

World event “Chernobog Time”

 

Woah, such a big storm of trouble has hit the island! You are to overcome many hurdles that Chernobog has set for you, for the long-awaited celebration to happen.

 

Any players of level 2 or higher that were present at the territory of the event completion for no less than 30 seconds at the moment of its completion will receive the reward.

 

1st stage: Chernobog's Chest I and Strong Company buff - increases the life and strength of monsters summoned by the "Oulbert's Help" and "Birgir's Help" skills by 10% (max 5 buffs - 50%)

 

2nd stage: Chernobog's Chest II and Exceptional Solidity buff - increases the "Solidity" parameter of the character by 3%  (max 4 buffs - 12%)

 

3rd stage: Chernobog's Chest III and Outrageous resistance buff - increases the “Resistance” parameter of the character by 3% (max 4 buffs - 12%)

 

4th stage: Chernobog's Chest IV and Blind fury buff - increases the "Fury" parameter of the character by 2% (max 4 buffs - 8%)

 

5th stage: Chernobog's Chest V and Pushy Temper buff - increases the Piercing Attack parameter of the character by 2% (max 4 buffs - 8%)

 

6th stage: Chernobog's Chest VI, Animal Guise skill and Lucky Deal buff - increases Good Luck Tokens, obtained by the character for completing attractions, by 30% (max 1 buff) - if 5th stage was completed

 

“Animal Guise” is an absolutely unique skill that will only be available on the Snow Boundary. It will allow your character to move across the island with unprecedented speed, in the form of a festive deer. But you should run with caution — any damage will immediately return you to the original form.

 

 

Each of the six Chernobog's Chests will contain collectible smileys, unique christmas hairstyles and also:

 

- common empowering relics

- Seeker's Stamina Elixirs

- tickets to an attractions

- holiday minions

- small Gladiator, Unity and Knowledge elixirs

Alliance event “Heroes of Ice Campaigns”

 

It’s time to remind the enemy alliance that even the celebration on the Snow Boundary is no reason to forget old quarrels. And as we know it, all is fair in a war!

 

Invate the enemy territory and kill Chernobog’s warlords, to deny the sworn enemies the claim on valuable rewards. Especially since such a daring victory will inspire your comrades and provide a significant bonus to magical and physical attack!

 

But don’t forget to protect your own bosses, since the enemy is sly and will do whatever they can to complete their mission.

 

Any players of level 6 or higher that were present at the territory of the event completion for no less than 30 seconds at the moment of its completion will receive the reward for active participation and supporting their Alliance - Jewelry Box of the Icy Hall and Mighty Force buff.

Icy Hall is a true test of valor for any warrior. Enter the icy halls of these creepy caves and triumph over eerie and dangerous helpers of Chernobog.

 

Use this opportunity to spend the time between faction wars well, to strengthen yourself with powerful equipment and be at your sharpest for the next fight with the opposing Alliance!

 

Any players of level 10 or higher that were present at the territory of the event completion for no less than 30 seconds at the moment of its completion will receive Treasury of the Ice Army and Backward delivery buff.

 

From Treasury of the Ice Army you can get:

- Enhanced Damage Reflection skill book

- Icy Relic of Intractability

- Seeker's Stamina Elixirs

Event restart time: 6 hours after event ends.

After all of the tests, a hero of Arinar faces the most fierce battle — with Chernobog himself. The master of frost has turned one of the caves of the Snow Boundary into his lair, and beating him there will be a very difficult task. To the villain’s protection will come not only the icy monsters, but the force of nature itself!

 

Enter his frozen chambers and challenge the lord of ice! Put an end to his crimes and forever banish the sorcerer from the lands of the Snow Boundary!

 

 

And the reward for Chernobog’s death is truly worth the effort! One player of the group that defeated the raid boss, will be guaranteed to get one thing from unique equipment items (head, body, hands, legs) of level 30 with Damage Reflection bonus.

Actually after reconsidering, especially in arena against all ranged characters who could interrupt rush, I think it's fair.

 

 

Update looks fun and it looks like there is much to do, hopefully I can find some time here and there to participate in the events.

New books are looking good! One more event compare to Horror Circus thats nice. Horror event was disappoint for me since I got bad luck which it was been my luckiest event. When I read this I remember Hulk,that he makes huge sound wave with clapping his hands.While I checked Rush skill on my bladedancer I remember that. It's probably late to say this,maybe they could fix it in this update. What I want to say is that you can use this skill without weapons which i found it funny always

These types of magic damages(sun,dark,moon) all turned to one type of magic damage ages ago.

Dungeons 24,26,32 - unique empowering relics. Most likely not a typo but a copy-pasted content from last year's announcement, when the actual typo was made by Reivenorik. )

As I suspected, the amount of gold received from monsters as reward is still abysmal, even when they said it's gonna be increased.

Either the increase is way too insignificant to notice the difference or the increase never even happened. (sigh)

 

Update: The skill "Animal Guise" seems to be one time use (that 300second cooldown doesn't mean anything) I wonder if that's a glitch or is that how it's supposed to work

What is the grace of crusar and that you kill the faction that has more player ..

Buff is my other amulet which is exact same but different name aquilons has 10% not 7% they are same exact thing if you played back in 2012 2013 you would remember that only reason they made wulturs amulet rings for dark magic players wlock necro etc @Akasha

You can use it every 5 min for 5 hours, it works as it's supposed to for me.. I have used multiple times. What glitch did you find exactly? Is your cooldown bar stuck or something? Can you record it?

Yes I just recorded it. The skill remains greyed out for the rest of it's life and no cooldown bar shows up at all. I believe it happened because first time I used to check it out and disguise expired when I was close to a strong monster which inevitably killed me before the cooldown process completed. Other than that I've no clue.

Please record it clearly, It takes longer than other skills for the yellow loading bar to appear - about 15 seconds, all I see is a close up, where I see no bug. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was about to write that I screwed up and didn't realise this skill works only in snowy bounds territory. I was at ayvondil, that's why the skill couldn't be used at all.

I see, yes this can be changed, but I'm afraid it won't be done during this event. Maybe next year, when we will be able to consider the effects of all these changes in the stats and skills and make all adjustments. The best way is to write about it in the suggestion section. But I must say: this is an old old item.. and developers normally don't change them because they're extremely rare. However, as you're suggesting to "buff" the item, I don't see why not.

I dont think this boss and others ( Including 32) are worth farming considering retri gears are extremely bad for everything but questing. ive tried a full +10 Retri set and it was garbage. I suggest adding a Costume/Books/Weapons to the bosses so those drops will be the "Valauble" ones cus armors basically just go to NPC and no one will be touching these bosses even for quest cus there so difficult

didnt want to tell that again , but you guys are really Awful at making boss in Holidays or you are really elf favor 😐

boss lvl 32 , have 50% crit chance , most times doing critical hit 

and also will attack group 

and not 1 skill , its have 2 group attack skill 

its almost impossible for mcs to do that boss , even with high Ls 

my hunter is +10 , full speed , 6k def and boss will kill him easy with his critical hit 

while almost all elf characters  expect ranger have shield , and boss have Steal Health , lol 

its not halloween , its snow 

why boss have both halloween and snow stats ? 

i saw party of full mage easily killed that boss 

(im not telling to nerf mage or something , all i want is make boss equal for both sides) 

I HOPE SANTA SEE MY LETTER AND MAKE BOSS CRIT LOWER , OR MAKE ITS DMG LOWER
