Nehantist 7
Q. How can I save a friendly unit? Which skill? A. Threads of Darkness. One instance when a friendly unit is A.F.K. / disconnected, creeps start to attack. Well, Provocation works great, 'cause we can use it every 8 seconds. But at one point of time one cannot provocate multiple creeps. We can also hit each creeps to change their target towards your unit, which I think isn't cool 'cause it needs a good tapping/clicking and selecting amount of time( while friendly unit dies). "But how long can you defend the attacks 'cause the creeps will keep respawning" Threads of Darkness...love this skill and with a new innovation would like to use it to pull friendly units away from their position and so they will be suppressed. Why? After you pull the friendly unit away you just have to finish the Creeps once and need not worry why you couldn't save that very unit. This is not a serious issue...Well, just a suggestion. Bloodylipa 1
I love the skill too, its just unbalanced with 30sec cooldown. Its great but it doesnt deserve longest cooldown ingame. Only issue I see would be ppulling friends 'by mistake' in arena when opponent melees are close and your friend moves around. Otherwise the idea is good. Best PvE use of threads is pulling ranged bosses to better killing spots for your party, something only DK can do :) this is how I use threads pvp and what classes I find easer to beat with DK Fighting statistics/ Threads - DK sword/shield: Opposing class. Win chance. Threads of darkness Bladedancer. 8.5/10. Free/ Protection Ranger. 8/10. High Druid. 5/10. Low Barbarian. 9/10. Instant Shaman. 4/10. Low Rouge. 3/10 or 7/10* Free/ Protection *Rouges can be very hard early fight, cause DK cant detect them. But late fight 1v1 DK has a great chance to stiffel this pest.* Paladin. 9/10. Free/ Protection Mage. 7/10. Instant/ Low Priest. 6/10. Low Death Knight. 9/10. Instant/ Low Necromancer. 5/10. Low Warlock. 3/10. Instant/ High **Win chance values** are not intended to be a ratio or procent based outcome its just a 1-10 scale how hard a opposing class is to face. 1 being the thoughest and 10 being easiest (most favorable to beat). Threads of darkness - values Instant - use it instantly on target without hesitation High - use on target early in the fight to get advantage Low - wait until late fight to pull fleeing targets Protection - use to remove target from partner Free - use whenever seem fitting
