But what would happen if laughter ceases forever, in the days of the winter solstice? Winter is a harsh and cruel season, even though many have forgotten about it during the long years of satiety and safety. But the heavy steps of the true master of winter, Chernobog, can already be heard in Arinar. His time is the time of silence, of white frost and bitter cold that flies over the world like a scythe and gathers a rich harvest of souls. Chernobog will reinstate the past reverence and fear of winter, that always was the time of death, equalizing all. Who would challenge the grim and all-powerful master of the Solstice?
Holiday quests
Well, friends, the adventure ahead is not an easy one. The entire island is under the constant watch of the ancient god Chernobog, who wishes to drown out the fun and celebration in these lands with сold and death.
But even this villain has his weak spots. What are those? The bravest of you surely will find out the answer. However, first they will need to visit the locals in the shape of a bear and bake dead bread for the forest witch. Maybe then will you receive a hint for the location of Chernobog’s death.
Along the way you can complete daily quests: destroy wooden idols of Chernobog, battle the snowy monsters, kill players of the enemy alliance and set fire to the decorated trees on the opposing side — in other words, have fun on the island!
But be careful — White Beard needs his helpers alive, to defeat the main villain!
Dungeons
We don’t like to spoil things, but what can you do — to solve the riddle of Chernobog’s death you’ll have to go down into the Dungeon. There hides the snow giant who can help with defeating the dark god. Sounds simple enough, right? But there’s a catch — Vafthrudnir has lost his mind. So you’ll have to get this giant’s brain working to gain his assistance. And beware, many difficulties await you, that not every warrior will be able to surpass!
Chernobog didn’t gain his menacing power overnight, there used to be those, who could challenge him, on the Snow Boundary. Giant Vafthrudnir decided to contest Chernobog in riddles, hoping to learn the secrets of his power. He wagered his own mind in this game, but despite his wisdom, he lost. Defeated, Vafthrudnir ran to the mountains, where the dark insanity caught up to him. The giant’s wisdom, along with his very mind, now belonged to Chernobog. As long as Vafthrudnir suffers, his wisdom serves evil. Will anyone on the Snow Boundary be able to put an end to his misery?
Tournament guild events on a GvG-territory “Harvest of Souls”
Trouble never comes alone. So Chernobog didn’t come to the island alone: he brough with him the strongest warlords who are ready to turn the Snow boundary into a land of eternal silence. It is time to gather your guild, because only together is it possible to battle these icy monsters!
The dark god walked up one of the slumbering volcanos of the Snow Boundary, raised his staff and struck the ground with it. The sparks fell right into the mouth of the volcano and turned into terrible creatures. One of them was named Kasanita and resembled a huge snowy worm. Right after Kasanita emerged a giant named Herred with an icy mace. He roared and avalanches fell down from the nearby mountains. Scadia walked out last, a mighty valkyrie, capable of commanding the blizzards. All of them bowed their heads before the master of winter, and he ordered them to reap the harvest of souls, to gain even more power. Each servant of Chernobog was granted a fief. Herred started terrifying the nearby villages. Scadia settled on the Island of Rougen. Kasanita chose icy caves because she couldn’t bear the sunlight.
Kill all monsters you come upon and clear out areas to earn points. Normal, strong and elite monsters will earn your guild from 2 to 50 points, and the respawn time will be from 20 to 100 seconds. You will also meet special elite monsters with a 250 points as a reward, but their respawning also takes longer — 200 seconds.
In the bordering areas you’ll find mini-bosses Herreds, for which you can get 2000 points. And every 200 seconds they will be ready to fight you again!
In the very centre of the event territory, on the Island of Rougen, resides Scadia — a powerful warrior. Killing her will award you with 6000 points and every 5 minutes she will return to her island to be challenged again!
However, the territory of the event contains not only areas on the surface, but also underground caves. Monsters are stronger there, but the rewards are also higher. There, in the icy caves hides raid boss Kasanita, defeating which will earn you 15000 points
Keep in mind that the entrances to the caves will only open for a certain time. You can’t stay long underground else you risk freezing to death. Prepare to kill very fast!

Guild event on a dedicated territory “Stronghold of Mara”
Ice queen Mara impatiently awaits the warriors of Arinar to give Chernobog the power of their dead souls. Prove that your guild is stronger than the army of the dark god. Defeat his wife and topple the dark god’s power!
Not all inhabitants of the Snow Boundary submit to the White Beard’s rule. An ancient hermit, living in a ramshackle hut near the Nava Oak Forest, harbors fierce anger towards the master of the Snow Lands for banishing him from the elven village long ago. The dark magus welcomed Black Hawk, who told him about the legend of a secret bridge in the Nava Oak Forest, leading directly to the palace of Mara, the ice queen. Black Hawk said that if that bridge was to be found, Mara would come to the Snow Boundary and fulfill the exile’s revenge with her scythe. The magus has found a way to the palace of the ice queen, but the first soul in the great harvest was his own. Black Hawk has tricked the insane hermit and with his help released from imprisonment his own wife, Mara Death, who went around the villages of the Snow Boundary with her army of frosty creatures and filled Black Hawk with the energy of death, allowing him to manifest as Chernobog and lay siege on these lands.
To get to Mara, you will need to break through three lines of defence, on each of which you’ll have to destroy Ice Gate. And while on the first stage the gate can fall to your strength and wit, on the second you will need the help of the golems — only they can destroy the icy hurdle. So just help them to get to the gate to the next area, defeating all monsters that get in your way.
The third stage has the most important gate, leading into the donjon! But it can only be destroyed with a powerful explosion. To activate the detonator, gather the dynamite that was brought to the Mara’s menagerie by friendly elves.
In the throne room, your guild will meet the ice queen who is dreaming of taking the lives of each and every one of you. Mara isn’t at all afraid of the warriors, since she has special defenders, sustaining her eternal life. It won’t be at all easy to defeat Chernobog’s wife, but it is too late to give up, right?
Conditions of activation: complete 10 times any dungeon at the Snow Boundary.

Events in the open world
World event “Chernobog Time”
This year, the Snow Boundary is colder than ever before. And it is not due to the weather, but a scheme of Chernobog’s helpers, who are trying to extinguish the fire of World Creation and destroy everything alive. Come to war against the minions of the dark god to fight against the cold winds and cruel blizzards!
First stage “Wolves in sheep’s clothing”
Chernobog wants to replace White Beard’s helpers with his wolves, who he gave the appearance of snow elves. Don’t let them spoil the celebration of the World Creation Day! Expose elves-pretenders and exterminate all snow wolves, hiding under the comely guises!
Second stage “Hour of the Bear”
Chernobog wishes to turn the Snow Boundary into his realm of cold and eternal death. To clear out these lands of the living, Chernobog has sent his scary servants — blizzard bears, who can turn into icy whirlwinds The bears are threatening to freeze everything around — destroy the dangerous beasts before that happens!
Third stage “Bonfire of the World Creation”
Since ancient times, it has been customary to light bonfires to honor the White Beard on the most magical night of the year. Chernobog unleashed the frost giants to put out the fire of the World Creation! Don't let such blasphemy happen!
Fourth stage “No fear of cold”
Chernobog unleashed a merciless blizzard that kills all living things to the White Beard's island. Only the warmth of a well-heated stove will help you survive in the severe cold. Chop the mad wood goblins into pieces, and you will protect yourself from the terrible blizzard!
Fifth stage “Ancient Enemy”
Chernobog has gone too far on his quest to destroy all the villages of the Snow Boundary! He resurrected the old servant of the evil forces, the Mastodon of the North. The huge monster is about to demolish all the houses on the island! He must be stopped at all costs!
Sixth stage “Blizzard Gorynya”
Chernobog's abode is very close, but the way to it was blocked by the faithful servant of the lord of cold, Gorynya, a huge bear that can turn into an ice vortex! You will have to defeat him in a tough fight!

Guild event “Monsters of the Icy Hall”
The territory of the holiday island is almost entirely occupied by monsters that came here alongside Chernobog. But the most dangerous creatures hide in the Icy Hall, a place that only the bravest of warriors dare to enter. Prove the strength of your guild and defeat all creatures of the severe frost!
Many dangerous monsters will stand in your way but your goal is to defeat the five strongest ones and, more importantly, make it out alive of this permafrost.

Alliance event “Heroes of Ice Campaigns”
Even during the fight against Chernobog the conflict between irreconcilable enemies - Legion and Sentinels - doesn’t calm down. Moreover, the opposite Alliance doesn’t hurry up to fight the monsters that have occupied the opposite part of the Hall: they seem to indulge the intentions of the dark god by their cowardly inaction. Well, the time has come to enter the territory of the enemy and demonstrate your power to them! After all, a new deadly fun appeared on the Snow Boundary - to destroy the ice monsters that live on the side of the enemy.
The event will start at the same time for both Alliances, but it ends for each individually, when the goal is achieved. So as soon as you hear the call of your Alliance — hurry up into the Icy Hall! And if you are faster than your opponents, you will be able to not only defeat the monsters on the enemy side and successfully complete your mission, but also thwart the opponents’ effort to do the same!

Bosses
As you may find out, in addition to the main villain of the Snow Boundary a huge number of other chilling monsters awaits.
There will be special bosses for each alliance: Legion will have to fight against Bolthorn, Fierce Claw, Crusher and Chladomir, while Sentinels will defend the holiday island from Bergelmir, Ardent Fang, Stomper and Ledogast.
And the general boss Icy Nightmare lurks in the very center of the Icy Hall. He is a real embodiment of fear which fetters even the most brave heroes like a severe frost. His killing will show which Alliance is stronger. So, prepare your weapons and team up with your allies to defeat the enemy!
Chernobog
Chernobog’s spells are as strong as the winter is cold, and he’s ready to use his entire arsenal to put an end to all life on the Snow Boundary once and for all. It will be the most dangerous battles and creatures made of snow instead of flesh and blood will come out to defend their master and fight to the death.
Chernobog appeared in Arinar many centuries ago, when the War Spear was destroyed. But his spirit is much older than the Spear, because the true name of Chernobog is the Black God! He is a part of an exceptional power that opposes the White Wanderer... And now the black sorcerer is ready for anything to become the sole ruler of the Snow Boundary and banish everything living from these lands. That would mark the start of conquering the whole Arinar!
Will the heroes be able to stoically withstand all of the prepared challenges and thwart Chernobog’s plans? Descend into the dark god’s chambers and confront him to defend all inhabitants of Arinar.
Rides
Even during as dire a time as this, the people keep celebrating the most magical time of the year. Commemorate your victories, friends, and have fun despite everything — new attractions await their visitors. The elves there have prepared cocoa and cookies, while the playful penguins are already dancing!
“Toothout” Attraction (solo, for all levels)
White Beard let the gremlins stay in the Snowy Bound. To express their gratitude, they began to entertain guests with a traditional gremlin competition - Toothout. Gremlins love this fun game, because it is the fastest and most understandable for everyone way to climb the social ladder. In order to win, you just need to use the Stone to bludgeon on the head those who are weaker than you as fiercely as you can, and try not to meet with those who are still stronger than you! Take on the guise of a gremlin and participate in the competition! The more gremlins you beat, the stronger you will become, and the more tokens White Beard will give you!
“Sweet Surprise” Attraction (solo and group, for all levels)
Chernobog ruined the holiday cookies by infusing the cute gingerbread men with evil spirits of the snowstorm and the cold! And now, if you want to taste the holiday cookies, you will have to fight him first! Do not despair, because White Beard will help those who challenge the cursed sweets. He sent over boxes with presents, which will not make the evil cookies happy! But how can we defeat the cookies that came to live? Here a Cup of Hot Cocoa will surely help us! Elves are already waiting for the holiday cookies. Defeat as many gingerbread men as you can, and you will be generously rewarded with tokens!
“Born to Swim” Attraction (solo and group, for all levels)
There are always a lot of problems in the Snowy Bound, and penguins are one of them. These obnoxious thieves keep pestering all the residents of the White Beard's country. They live on a separate island, and they use balloons to get to the Snowy Bound. The penguin island has sleeping geysers that can be awakened with the help of a lever system - it will stop the penguins and their raids. The Lord of the Snowy Bound announced that a new competition is about to start. White Beard will generously reward with tokens the one who will bring down more penguins than anyone else!
Holiday skills
Traditionally, for the duration of the World Creation Day all characters will receive special celebratory skills, that will not only help in battle, but also add a little magic to the day to day life!

Brave Oulbert — is the embodiment of honour and bravery. A good battle will be the best reward for such a warrior.
Birgir's Help
Birgir was created to be a part of the permafrost, but he is always ready to help at the drop of a hat.
Animal Guise
For some time, you turn into an animal, whose speed will rival even the fastest creatures of Arinar.
The last skill will be given out as a reward for participating in the world event for some time, and will be available only on the territory of the Snow boundary.
Achievements
Don’t forget to open new achievements of the Snow Boundary! 17 holiday achievements will be available for you and 5 of them will be legendary.
Complete quests, kill monsters, have fun on the attractions - and at the same time get the rewards you deserve!

Interface changes
Shortcut menu is updated - now you can collapse the menu by a special button.
Menu for choosing a target is reworked - now it’s much easier to navigate in battles. In a menu of choosing there will be class icon and mob’s strength along the name of a hero/monster. In addition, the order of the list for using spells with a positive effect has changed and now it looks like this:

Other changes and fixes
Restriction on numerous attempts to invite a player to a group is added. Now the intruder who send continually repeated invitation requests will receive a short-term ban.
An alert indicator for receiving a personal message from players in the game is added to the taskbar.
The system for fulfilling the conditions for events activation is upgraded. If a party consists of heroes from different guilds, the dungeon completion will be counted for all guilds and not only for the leader’s guild as it was before.
The system of calculating tokens for the group attractions is changed. Now the reward will be distributed equally among all members of the group, regardless of whether they were inside the attraction at the time of completion or not.
We fixed the bug that caused the triggering of a relic while the skill action was ignored by an enemy by evading/blocking/parrying, provided that the relic didn’t have to work from ignoring the effect of the skill.
We fixed the incorrect value of the bonus to magical attack from crystals in some types of weapons.
We changed the values of bonuses of runes of dodging and parrying in two-handed weapons, depending on the level of the weapon. Now it is significantly higher.
We fixed the error due to which players could cut down on the time of completing the mythical difficulty of the "Rotting Garden" dungeon.
We fixed the price of amplifying some of level 29 Arena gear. It used to be too low.
We increased the amount of gold that a hero receives from monsters as a reward.
A bug is fixed which caused an auto attack not to work after the effect of stunning on the character.

Hi, I want to suggest additional hotkey bar for skills. I'm a necro player and using all my skills but i cant put potion to my hotkey. It's huge problem for me and I think other players will agree me.
You may right but not for necro player. If I press everything I could possibly press, that will cause a fail. Nowadays players wants to be fast in the dungeons. So most of the time I'm the only healer at the party. Sometimes we dont have a tank :D. So if I miss something a player probably gonna die. As you know necro class using health points for some of important skills like dark aura and heal so sometimes we need to use potion. Adding 5 or 10 more squares to hotkey wont cost anything for AIGRIND I guess :D.
