you see them everyday in arenas and other places and youd be surprised how many of them are actually booked, its just that if its not a chief, they die just as fast with 15 books as with 0 cause they have no counterplay to elves. Theres a reason why you only really see orci chiefs in fights when things get hard, and the reason is that other classes simply cant do a thing against good elves no matter if theyre booked or not.

And that is exactly why i say, if they decide to nerf chief, they better buff the shit outta other mc classes or theres no hope for mc.

idk, never seen them tank for a long time like wardens and palas that can go for up to a minute easily and if its just 1 guy hitting them, pretty much forever until trash enough luck or they kill the guy hitting them. dont know whether or not you got all the newest talents on your fresh bd either. I see maxed out, even booked dks just get deleted in a matter of seconds when people actually focus them. Feel free to try to catch a clip vs a dk to prove me wrong, a fair one at that, for example you with 0 buffs taking a while to kill a fully buffed dk is not a fair comparison.

Dks seem to survive against my bd just fine. 2h ones a are less tanky sure but thats the tradeoff you sign up for not using shield.

Just few dudes who started the game as DKs and Quit it playing DKs; seeing in the meanwhile other tanks getting noticeable buffs while they had to wait for years just to see Saturation being a Permanent Skill.

Let's make a test: I give you a damage dealing skill which heals you in certain situations; a damage dealing skill which also deals AoE damage all around an area 3x3 wide; I give you a branch talent which increases for free your magic dmg basing it on the ammount of your physical damage.

On the other hand, I give you a 4 sec 20% damage reduction transferable on allies, a Skill which triggers if you're under a certain ammount of MAX hp which is based on the most outdated statistic the game has to offer and which goes in complete contrast with the very purpose of this class (which, I remind you, is tanking via LS) and a basic defensive skill which got discretely good which requires however a relic in order to be maximized. Now tell me: what's more appealing or even more useful? Being a punch bag which takes a bit more than 10 seconds to die or a class which could even help dealing some damage but dies in the very moment a damager aims it? Because this is what we are talking about, in the end of the story.

I would like to talk about this on a different topic though

i see dks getting deleted from existence in 5 seconds by any good seekers, bds, mages, beastmasters, anything that has good dmg and if they use their best tank setups possible, they can tank for perhaps another 5 seconds while losing every other ability they would otherwise have.

DKs is an ok tank. Excellence is far away from the compliments this class may currently receive.

Agree, buff barbarians, oficially the worst tank in the game, even dk is a bit tankier.

Malik Campbell reacted to Theweasel in Reapers needs rebalance
Reapers have a skill which in demon form it gives a guaranteed critical hit 100%, is not like your resi isnt working. also that critical hit doesnt have effect. Indeed that skill plays with resilence,  that 10% u lacks, means more damage to the critical hit.

    "i died in 3 seconds"
this is  the same situation when fighting against bladedancers... our "everyday"...
I guess the fact that we got a similar class to the bladedancers shocked to many elves..
And yet, bladedancers have, not all, but some things better than reapers.

My advice is, start getting used to it, like mc did against the bladedancer

Chiefs aren't inherently a frontline class though. They're perfectly capable of hanging in the middle of the pack, casting their high dmg aoe skills. The fact that a low def cloth user class can even play frontline better than tanks designed for it, speaks volumes already about how broken their skill set is.

It's ridiculous, a class that turns invisible, stuns and pulls enemies and doesn't let them move, and on top of all that, gains movement speed while invisible!

Movement speed is important in GvG, but another Sentinel class should have that bonus, and not a class that turns invisible.

I just think it's funny the character seems to have been made to use a staff but if you use a staff the wolves lose 99% of their damage. Why don't you change the character's icon to an mace and shield? Why don't you put a mace and shield on him on the creation screen? Players who choose the charm on the creation screen choose a staff character, but are then forced to use mace and shield,

I know Charmer's strength currently, the Skill called is his most useful Skill, since you can't use it with a staff, just remove his staff, If I wanted to play healer I would play Chamam or Necromancer

I would like to suggest small changes to the Enchanter class

    Calling Skill

Currently its description doesn't reveal much about damage values

I would like to suggest the following change to make the staff Charmer more adaptable,

Change in damage values causing the Charmer's Dog to deal 70% / 80% / 90% / 100% / 110% of the character's physical damage or 50% / 55% / 60% / 65% / 70% of the damage character's magic depending on the character's dominant damage, I'm suggesting this change because when the Charmer equips the staff the main Skill becomes useless.

    Oppression skill

This Skill could be much better, what if it were more versatile and interesting?

Suggestion: when using the Skill the character gains the oppressive positive effect for 8s / 9s / 10s / 11s / 12s during this period his first automatic attack stuns the enemy for 1s the duration of the stunning effect increases by 1s for each creature summoned by "Called " in the area.

It just wouldn't be cool if only the staff were strong and the mace became obsolete.
I think there are many ways to improve charm that are not necessarily these.

Im sure that magical damage is not only Decorative.
Beastmaster doesnt lose anything Despite being only having magic damage, still have strong damage/aoe etc,  while chief sacrifices some skills Depending on build.
Maybe only mixed chief has a bit of everything
What it lacks in resistance , it has in excess in healing.  Why does bm needs that amount of healing skills in first place?
Ofc rogues need a good defensive skill, but  It's not the chief's fault in having a defensive skill that the rogue doesn't.
books makes all classes broken in their own way,  dont expect all classes doin the same as chief.
I honestly don't know what to tell you buddy.. tell them to stop using cheap buffs, to fight honestly?

Nerfing all chief is not the solution,  strong booked chieftains will still be there.
Eventually y'all will keep asking to nerf  every thing you find broken To the point of rendering it totally useless, as happened with the poor rogues.

    Yes
    Yes, all classes arent same
Yes, because also have magical damage, same thing as beastmasters
Those doesn't use magical damage, but yet, rogues/seekers/bd/reaper, have a kind of healing skill based on health percentage, bcz they are all melee combat classes, need major survivality chance.
Ranged  rangers/hunters classes, They're just artillery in the rear, ranged combat is a enough advantage already.
Those who should be crying for a healing skill are mages, magic damage, kind of melee action skills etc
If a rare item makes a class powerful, not the item.. The class, should be nerfed?
Sounds like an excuse of someone with that kind of item, that doesn't wanna risk the amount of gold that payed for it
    Physical Chief ❎
    Mixed chief ✅

Was thinking the same, increasing overall dmg could create more problems in all scenarios.
That's why I proposed to just change the function of left branch key talents , so it maintains a decent amount of dmg ( as it is a dmg dealer class ) but doesn't go too far in it

I don't know about that one chief, the seeker (in its current state) is capable of dismantling tanks, imagine the other damage dealers being able to do the same, if that happens then the devs will have to increase the health points of the tanks very high to be able to play their role as a tank.

    Hello players!
I'm sorry for the translation errors.
As I see here and in all the topics when talking about chiefs, one thing in common caught my attention, all the chiefs' videos are the chiefs' grandeur +10 crits, and with a collection of huge books, including the 2 from the sea (orcinus + octopus) these 2 books mentioned combine very well with the "pack support" magic and this makes the chief quite strong, in fact!
However, the reality of 95% of chief players is different. We don't have a book collection.
We die as fast as mages in pvp.
We don't have high damage per second compared to other classes.
So a few chiefs full of books cannot serve as a parameter. To make a fair balance and not "kill" the class and the legion!

Yes u r totally wrong, seeker can kill full party in arena with out having any difficulty, same you told about dk as tank can't have all, then please look at the warden, higher damage stunt and never die. Is that a tank or god ?
Compared to dk warden it's 5/95. And druid, don't wanna talk to it, it's a Titan. Need nerf it. Same for mage. 2 x protection resistance and high damage make it God or something else.

More over the Mac sentinel char have well protection stunt and resistance.
Why not give some resistance in legion? Specially for forsaken? And give a passive shield to warlock and make relaxation 75% damage reduction with resistance.
Let's see how the sentinel can cry further.

    Gm should make balance.

Malik Campbell reacted to vavavi in Desbalance in dmg physical
Heal classes are generally meant to be mainly playing a supportive role. They're not meant to be tanks that can run to the frontlines and withstand massive amounts of damage.
