That's kinda the whole point of the class. Well done describing Beastmaster.
Thank you that means a lot sweetie.
2 hours ago, Gladiator said:Also, Charmer's summons also share the charmer's stats too.
Offensive stats? Yes, Defensive stats? No.

AIGRIND also classifies Beastmaster as a Damager class and still gave it an AoE healing + defense buff skill
Wait What? I thought it was some sort of support class.

Just waiting on the rebalance update so I can make my final decision because I live in North America, I only speak English, the US server legion population is low and I'm not interested in switching servers.

imagine a bm without the beast. it would be weak, nothing special.
Now imagine the beast without the bm, it would be weak, yes it would be weak, it would not have cures, it would not have atk speed buffs, damage, it would not have area damage, it would not have control.both are part of something unique. NEVER ONE, WITHOUT THE OTHER
Are you referring to bms with expert skills or no expert skills?

Is a charmer with four dogs and a bird considered 1vs5?
What if I told you that the summons are easy to dismantle? (By the amped rich folks of course).

Why would it be 2v1 if the pet is part of the beastmaster abilities?
They both share the same stats like HP and defense, because of this it's like a playable character being controlled by an NPC, the beast does more damage than the Bm, and it can do aoe damage depending on how much auto attack it does.

We can always Choose to leave it as it is, but buff all other damage classes
Win - win
I don't know about that one chief, the seeker (in its current state) is capable of dismantling tanks, imagine the other damage dealers being able to do the same, if that happens then the devs will have to increase the health points of the tanks very high to be able to play their role as a tank.

Heal classes are generally meant to be mainly playing a supportive role. They're not meant to be tanks that can run to the frontlines and withstand massive amounts of damage.

"oh no! Booked chieftains are so stronger, please nerf ALL chief in order to weaken them!! , who cares about non booked ones which is the 90% of chieftains, fk them all too!!!"
I hope the changes don't affect the F2P population in a negative way, but I somewhat doubt it a little bit, it's some of the skills that need fixing, not the class as a whole.

I too want the best for both sides as a legion myself, having one side with juiced-up classes creates major problems, which is why balance for both is the only and best solution for everyone's in-game experiences.

No but you tried to casually make the point that maybe tanks are also as unkillable as the Chieftains in the videos, so it's fine for Chieftain to tank a whole party while doing 800k+ damage.
But hey, it's just cuz of +10 and buffs right? Everyone with +10 and buffs should be able to do that!
Dude no, I do not want such a thing for chieftains or any other damage dealer class, that's not fair for a damage dealer to be tanky like a tank, but I believe that damage dealers who can equip heavy gears should be able to go toe to toe with tanks (aka Reapers and Bladedancers) but shouldn't have health on par with them, which would help bridge the gap between the both, but I could be talking nonsense right here. Feel free to call me out on that if you want.
The first quote is about me (being a death knight) who is amped to +2 or isn't in a high-level guild at the moment with guild buffs and a ton of event buffs like you rich folks in Map 5 giving the benefit of the doubt that tanks who are well equipped with the very best gear sets are as killable like that chieftain that had a guild laying a beat down on him.

"I saw vid pala tank 3 random ppl so I think tanks can be this level of unkillable while also doing 800k+ damage."
Tanks should be able to give damage dealers a hard time, but to do damage like one? is complete nonsense and I don't support that.

Not a bad concept for rich folks who want to level up their alts but I 110% don't think this will happen. What they could do is give us the ability to purchase levels if we want to reach the new maps, I think.

The other rich folks who weren't lucky enough to get any of them from the Merman Dungeons or PvE focus players.

If the dogs shared defense stats like the charmer then I'd be on your side, but the Beast Master however shares defense stats with the cat, due to the dogs not having this luxury it will not be a problem for you +10 amped rich folks to dismantle a dog (or 2) without dying. So personally to me, this is just a weak argument.

Wow, this dude just got dismantled. I've seen a video of a Paladin taking a beating like a boss but, he had on Mermen Gear ( and a ton of buffs via scrolls, potions, guild, event, etc) so what I see is that in order to be a "Near Unkillable" tank, hunt for some Mermen Gear. You can do it rich folks I believe in you all
Or maybe the Death Knight needs some buff to its survivability.

Unfortunately, the devs haven't released any expert skills for the charmers to take advantage of the tank stats yet, the closest we have is an expert aggro skill that has a CD time of 14 seconds, while the other 4 tanks' basic aggro skills have 7-8 secs, hopefully, they'll give us some expert tank skills in the future because currently the charmer just a summoner/support class that can wear heavy armory.

Very cool suggestions shamans do lack in damage so the idea of them having a minion similarly to druid might help them with dealing the extra dmg they're missing.

Interesting, if only tanks are this unkillable but who knows? maybe they are but hey, I'm not +10 to 4th dimension buffed to 7th.

As someone who also returned after years away, I can say that that you can still play free, especially since ayvondil t1 and t2 dungeons are not required for progression. It's much easier to grind for things than when original maps were being made, especially with dungeons in 1st maps. Plus all the things you can get for free. Honestly the only issue on an overall basis is the daily knowledge cap on quests.
I wish the changes came sooner when the game was at its peak, instead of when things started to go downhill.
[2023.12.13] Update Warspear Online 12.2. Announcement. Part I

Way ahead of you lady, based on the feedback it's mixed but with slight doomer vibes, and based on that nothing is going to change so hell yeah I'm hitting the road, I believe the devs should focus on the population problems after this update, this update is for the rich folks because you don't see low levels complaining, why? Oh wait because the arena scene below Level 20 is DEAD because of the LOW POPULATION. Unbalanced classes/skills = Population Shift. I'm looking forward to greener pastures.
