  1. It is glad we have experienced Arinar's beloved day once more, To seek treasures, grow strong and to learn of its unknown and growing lore, Let us all login, gather around with our friends and get ready to play, For it is our beloved Warspear Online's sixteenth birthday. From the vast steppes and swamps to the burning desert under the scorching sun, To magical forests, floating islands and strolling under the sea we did have fun, To the endless grind in dungeons, arena matches, crafting items and daily quest, We all competed in the battles on our journey on becoming the best. We thank everyone from the creators and to the players, From the celebrations and events we've been all these years, We have withstood the test of time, facing all kinds of adversary, But one thing is for sure and that's getting ready for our seventeenth anniversary.
  2. Once again we all gather on this grand celebration, May you hear our dear thanks and congratulation, For the time of Arinar's day has come once again, Our deepest gratitude are with you, forever and then. From the triumphs we made and treasures we found, The foundations laid and the friendships we are bound, We rejoyce the moment, and cherish the memories, Together not only with our allies but also our enemies. As we all join hand in hand for a decade and a half, Never we will forget our countless times of laugh, Though much has passed for the time we have been, I am sure more things will come we have yet have seen.
  3. Hope this 10k+ character story is ok. I got inspired by the story even though I told myself i will limit it to 6k.
  4. Long time have passed since the White Wanderer created the world of Arinar, a lot were written through out the ages. A lot were also forgotten, trampled upon by the unstoppable march of time. Some were told but not believed, and some were changed for the good of the many. One of these so-called forgotten stories involves the Legendary Berengar, on an unknown feat upon landing the frozen shores of Godgorath. ****** They were all weary. The men soaked in rain, tears and sweat. It was the third storm that hit them on the ocean. They all lost hope except one and that was Berengar, the leader of the outcast from the mainland. They were in search of a new land, a land they could call their own. And finally like everyone hoped, they had found it. A snowy mountainous island in the placed atop the blue sea. When Berengar set foot on the land he knew something was wrong. It was already owned, he can feel it. The Spirit of the Mountain whispered to him to flee if they wanted to live. Berengar tried to talk to the spirit but it did not answer. For a moment they thought that the night has arrived early, but they were wrong. Up in the sky was a black figure with a shape no one can tell. The only significant details they can tell were a pair of long horns protruding out of the beasts head, wings that stretched from the end of the horizon to another and if the people were not exaggerating back then a tail long enough to touch the ground from the sky. They shivered in cold and fear. The beast gave off a roar like the sound of hundred thunders that pierced the ears of the men. The flap of its wings were strong enough to make a storm as men held to whatever they can hold to to not get blown away by the raging wind. And for a second within the blink of an eye the beast's tail had already swept the ships landed on the shore without them noticing it. The men lost hope. Their knees kissed deep in the snow as they kneeled and beg for forgiveness to the hovering beast above. The beast although gifted with incredible wings, horns and a tail lacked a single feature; it has no ears. The wails of the wounded sounded silent to him, the pleads of cries sounded air to him and the words of forgiveness sounded nothing to him. But in truth the beast have ears, sharp to hear every rustle of your clothes and hear your every breath. The beast justs refuses to listen to the poor men. Lucky enough for the remaining unfateful outcasts some of them managed to flee and stuff themselves in a cave that if they hadn't find out would have been the end of them. All hope was lost, including Berengar himself. But the spirit of the mountain once again whispered to Berengar. "You, you have a strong mind and heart. But that alone is not enough to face the Ririkan." A cold voice talked to him. "YOU! WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO ME!" Berengar shouted that the cave silenced. The men thought if Berengar has gone insane. "Not now, we shall talk later. Until then don't lose hope." The voice faded away with its last words. Berengar waited for the voice to come once more but it did not. He waited till night time but still not a whisper has touched his ear. He decided not to sleep that night for he might miss the voice and never return. But for someone who has been on a voyage like Berengar, a sleep comes easy when you are tired. In his dreams Berengar stood alone in the cold plains. He remembered the place, it was where the beast appeared in the sky. He scouted the place once more, he was alone. He couldn't even feel the presence of the beast. It was of course a dream. A gust of snow appeared out of nowhere. He thought it was the beast flapping its enormous wings once again. Berengar reached out for his axe, but it was not there, but still he fixed his stance and prepared for what will happen next. A stag appeared from the wind, it's horn was luminous as a full moon. It's nose pointed up and down as it pranced towards him. "We have finally met." The stag talked through his mind. "It is you, the voice. Who are you?" Berengar asked. "I am the Spirit of the Mountain, I am the tree that sprung out of the rock, I am the crow that waits patiently for the my prey to die, I am the wind that brings cold to your skin and I am the flower covered in snow waiting for the spring to come." "That is a long name for a stag with shining horns." "Indeed that is a long name for a stag like me." The stag laughed as it changed its appearance to a young bear. Berengar was amazed. He knew it was just a dream but he felt a strong power within the spirit. "The monster, that beast, how can we defeat it." Berengar bent down and asked the bear transformed from a stag. The Spirit of the Mountain was silent for a moment. Berengar did not notice that the bear transformed to a wolf. It amazes him. "The Ririkan," the wolf said in Berengar's head. "That is what they call him, no that's what he call himself. To others he is the destruction, to you he is the beast, but to me he is the conqueror of my land." "Is it possible to defeat him?" Berengar asked the spirit. "Yes, but hear me out first about the story of the Ririkan. The wolf told Berengar about the Ririkan. "Eras ago when Harad's hammer shattered the Spear on Garahan's claw, the shards of the spear was scattered all around Arinar. No one knows where the shards are, it seems that the White Wanderer himself has hid them so that none may ever use them again. Except the Ririkan, nothing was known about him about the past. The only thing known about him is that he is powerful and he has a shard of spear within him." "He is so powerful that lands you had never heard of will never be heard again because of him, and I fear my land will be one of this." The spirit added. "So how do we stop him, the Ririkan?" Berengar eagerly asked. "Soon you will know Berengar, but first I want to know more about you. You seem interesting." Berengar smiled. He knew it was a trade. Knowledge in exchange for knowledge. Now it was his part to barter. He told the spirit about his story. That he cursed his own kin, about his inextinguishable hatred towards the people living comfy and warm on the grassy plains and the inhabitants of the forest. "Now I see it, despite the strong will and dedication you have, a black spot still resides in your heart." The spirit spoke. "My strong will and dedication comes from the black spot in my heart, spirit." Berengar proudly said. The spirit laughed continuously changing his form back to a bear then to the stag while still laughing. "Yet despite your hatred, you still love your people don't you?" The spirit asked curiously . "Yes spirit, I love them as they were myself." "Yourself? I see." The spirit changed form from a stag to an exact image of Berengar. The two looked at each others eye. "You like changing forms do you?" "Do you like it?" "Yes, it amazes me." "Now tell me, what do you see in me?" "A strong man." The spirit nodded and gazed back to Berengar's eye. "That's what I also see in you." "Now Berengar, listen on how to defeat Ririkan." Berengar swallowed, clenched his fist and opened his ears wide thinking he might miss a word or two. The spirit changed form back to a wolf, but it was different this time. The wolf held something in its mouth, a shard. Berengar didn't need an explanation what it was. He was terrified and glad both at the same time. "Yes you are right Berengar, this is indeed a shard from the Spear brought into Arinar by the White Wanderer." The spirit read Berengar's mind. "Take it." "But why? Why me? You have a shard of the spear that means you can face him right?" "The Ririkan alone is strong even without the shard. This shard I have within me is not enough to face him. That's why I need a strong one like you Berengar." "I am not that strong as you think mighty spirit, I am a human afterall. Even if the Ririkan doesn't possess a shard I believe I will be no match for him in battle." "But now you possess one, it will be even." Berengar had doubts. Inside him he knew that even if he had the shard he will still be no match for the Ririkan. "Take it," the spirit said once more. "Take it if you want to save your people." A sudden urge inside him made him snatch the shard on the wolf's mouth when the spirit reminded him of his people. "Good." The spirit gladly said as Berengar took the shard. Berengar inspected the shard. It seemed an ordinary piece of metal. But this metal was once a part of a powerful weapon that divided Arinar in to two. And a small piece of it was enough to bring destruction such as the Ririkan. "What is it that you want for the exchange?" Berengar asked the spirit while toying with the shard. "None, just defeat the Ririkan and this land that I own, I will gladly give to you." "I thank you spirit of the mountain." Berengar bowed down to the wolf but when he raised his head up the spirit changed form again to the stag with shining horns. "Who are you really, Spirit of the Mountain?" "I guess you should have known that by now but it seems you still haven't. I am that shard you are holding." "This is you?" Berengar looked at both the spirit and the shard. "Yes, that is me. When the spear broke and shattered, I got thrown away in this place and I became a spirit that guards this land. Go now, Berengar. You have my blessing." Berengar turned around but shifted back to the spirit immediately. "Shard, I mean Spirit of the Mountain, do you happen to have a name?" "A name? I suppose I have, it is Godgorrath." "Godgorrath." He repeated. "Sleep well Berengar, you still have a battle to fight." Just as the spirit's word ended Berengar was awakened by a loud noise. The cave he is in shook, it was no mistake it was the Ririkan. As he stood up from his sleep he felt something in his hand, he smiled knowing that all that happened was not just a dream. The shard same as what the spirit of the mountain gave him in his dreams looks exactly the same as what he is holding right now. "Thank you Godgorrath," he whispered to the shard. Berengar rushed towards the entrance of the collapsing cave but was stopped by his own men. "Chieftain! We are no match for that beast!" Said one of his men. "Berengar please! Don't die, save yourself at least. Find a way out of this land! We'll handle the beast for now, find a new cave, one nearer to the sea so that you can flee instantly on a raft." Said another. Berengar knew his men is hard to please. With the remaining time he had he told them the story about his dream, the spirit and the shard with haste. The men took not a minute to understand what is happening. "I shall now leave my men, this battle is mine. Until then stay safe." Berengar said to his men. "No, we will not leave you alone." His men repeated. As Berengar expected, his men are hard to please. He smiled, grateful that he has men like them. "Wear your best gear my men! We will go into battle!" Berengar shouted on the top of his lungs. "YESSS!!!" His men even shouted louder. The battle took a day. Berengar on the lead provoked the Ririkan to come down by reflecting the shard on the sun to the beast's eye. The Ririkan darted down on the sky with its horns downwards. The men were unable to believe what they saw as Berengar stopped the beast's horn by his hand. Berengar jumped on the Ririkan's back and cut its left wing with the shard. The maimed beast no longer has the ability to fly making the battle on ground, a favourable battle for the men. Hunters volley uncountable amounts of arrows as others chopped down the beast's enormous horns with axes. Finally the beast was now weakened to death but unable to die, it still lives but unable to move. "Use me to kill the Ririkan." The shard whispered to him. "What is that Godgorrath?" Berengar pretended he did not hear. "Use me, that beast has now taken the powers of the shard. That means he is a living shard. He is a shard himself now." "But that means...." "Yes, I will be gone too. A shard for a shard. You must be familiar with that kind of ruling." "No, you are the reason why the Ririkan is dead, not me." "Not me, you are Berengar, I'm just a tool here right in your hands." "You know I can't do that." "You must, save your men at least. They risked their live as you have risked your life to them." "Thank you, spirit of the mountain." Berengar nodded to the shard. The spirit didn't say another word. As Berengar stuck the shard in the beast's heart. It gave off a painful roar that lasted minutes, they did not pity him. At last the beast silenced and became dust that was blown easily by the wind. The men shouted in joy, all of them. Each one patting each others back of the ones still alive. Even the ones that has lost a love one were overcome by joy, all except Berengar whose inside was mourning for the lost of a part of him. Many years have gone by and the Ririkan never returned, same with Godgorath. Never has been another incident similar to the Ririkan's. But to this day they say that the Spirit of the Mountain is still guarding his land alongside Berengar. ~END~ 10500+ characters, spaces not included IGN: Saicreed Server: Us-Sapphire
  5. Can I exceed 6000 chars? I'm 4000 characters in and I just reached the halfpoint of my story. I think I need to cut things.
  6. Should I make a continuation of a story or can I just make a new one? Been trying to right a warspear fanfic about characters I made up and friends in game but it seems I lost interest in it. Now I just need an idea for the contest.
  7. "Never trust anyone." It is a line from the forgotten warrior that was both betrayed by the Legion and the Sentinel. He was forgotten that no scriptures of him is found on the archives or Arinar. In his disappearance, the Betrayed Soul carved out an armor made from the blood of both the Legion's and the Sentinel's. He died crafting the armor by pouring his own blood in it. Some say the armor itself is curse that if you wear it the Betrayer's Soul will take over your body. Up until now no one has dared to wear it.
  8. What about if we can double tap a skill so we can use it directly on our character? For example: Healing skills and buff skills. Double tap it to use it on yourself. Also some aoe skills like Earthquake for shaman and Pool and Circle for warlock. This is useful when you are surrounded by mobs, just double tap it to cast it in your spot and ensure every mob next to you is hit. Because sometimes even if you cast in your character spot the delay/lag makes it miss the mobs attacking you. Im sure there are some skills in elf too that you can double tap to cast it on around your character. (I dont play elf so i dont know, im mc)
  9. IGN: Saicreed Server: US-Saphire On behalf of every member of our guild DeepImpact both past and present, Happy new year all!
  10. Nvm this post, miracurously I can now again sell again :) Merry happy new yr everyone *******
  11. I was transferred here in forums from the tech support page because they are on holiday(merry xmas i guess). Yeah I know it's against the rules to buy gold using real money from players but many others do it freely and they dont get punished. Now for the first time i tried to sell some and just a minute instantly I can no longer manipulate my inventory(sell, buy, transfer). I'm just asking what's the process I need to make to be free of this curse. I just bought mcoins after a long time and I cant enjoy the game without access to my gold and inventory even though I can still play the game(kill elf, gank, dailies, farm, kill elf). Ty.
  12. Gm can do the editing (--,) If they chose mine (T_T) Srsly im having a hard time drawing it up front so i just draw it from the easier side. Lol
  13. Spearshooter Scorpion Once upon a time, an elven engineer working under Langasard invented a magical weapon, it was called the "Spearshooter", a huge crossbow made from the wood of a magical tree from the forests of Melvendil. It magically produces huge arrows as big as a spear when you pull its strings, it means this weapon never runs out of ammunition. The weapon was intended for the invasion of Godgorath and if possible the destruction of Moraktar. The Langasard army made countless of them even cutting down the last standing magical tree of Melvendil. The elven elders warned the elven engineer about its harms, but he did not listen. They mounted the spearshooters on battle ships and gathered all the experienced captains and crewmen from Melvendil and Langasard. The warships sailed forward towards the cursed lands, blue sails fluttered against the sea winds. The men laughed, as if victory has been achieved. Little did they know of the disaster that will fall upon them. A raging storm sweeped the whole fleet leaving nothing but annihilation. Harad did not smile upon them, neither did Nuadu. They called upon their names, some even called out for Garahan the black dragon. Nothing came, the storm strenghtened instead. It was the wrath of the gods. All the ships, crews and spearshooters all went down in the deepest of Arinar's waters. The elven engineer was among the drowned. With the cutting down of the last magical tree the spearshooters were never made again. Several attempts were made to built another one using different wood, but all failed with the last of the magical tree gone and with the death of the elven engineer. The spearshooter became a legend. And like all legends, it now only exists in books. Everyone had forgotten about it, until now. Scouts among the Maliat elves report a wreckage of a pirate ship riddled with arrows as huge as spears. Frogle corpses were found shot along the coasts of Ayvondil after an attempted raid. Numerous other pirates and sea creatures were found dead by scouts with huge arrows impaled on them. Until one day a scout reported seeing a huge crossbow coming out of the sea shooting a pirate ship on a great distance, it was being carried by a huge scorpion on its back. Several civilians also report these crossbow carrying scorpions fending of pirates and sea creature attacks. "It was the spearshooter," old folks say. The long lost weapon drowned to the sea has now emerged with a new purpose. Not for the destruction of the Legion, but for the destruction of even greater evil. But was has happened to them? And how did it happen? Centuries ago when the spearshooter fleet was wiped away, they were saved by huge scorpions unknowingly living on the depths of Arinar. They are kind and calm despite their intimidating looks. Their cold hard shell gave off a crescent blue in contrast to their fiery crimson eyes. The crew were sheltered by these scorpions in an air-trapped cave in the depth of the sea. There, the elven engineer realized his mistake. Melvendil was destroyed not because of the Mountain Clan nor the Forsaken, but because of him. He destroyed the last living magical tree of Melvendil for what? To cause more destruction? Destruction will lead into more destruction. The elven engineer was filled with remorse, he failed his task as a Firstborn –to protect the land of Arinar. With the few surviving men they had in the dim lit air-trapped cave they tried fixed what they had done wrong. One by one they removed the spearshooters from the sunken ships and mounted them on the scorpions that have saved them. They made sure that every scorpion will have a spearshooter mounted on its back. For years and decades the crew removed, fixed and placed these weapons until every last crustacean of its kind has a giant crossbow slammed on its back. They all knew that these scorpions will do the right job, a right job better than theirs. The spearshooter scorpions remained near the air trapped cave for some centuries until it decided to venture out into the known world of Arinar. Perhaps it has sensed the greater evil that lurks beyond the unknown waters of Ayvondil? Or maybe it has sensed something else? No matter what the reason is the spearshooter's real purpose is about to be told. *Ranged Damage dealer class minion. *Note: the spearshooter scorpion uses the tip of its tail to pull the crossbow string. 14. maybe this cc chest will also contain cc costumes from past events :)
  15. Wew... won third place thanks much guys. I really had a good feeling my story will place third and not first nor second idk why lol. I'm currently writing the continuation of my story "Memories of Irselnort". The story will take place in Ayvondil. It will tell Saicreed's tale of the foreign land and his tale of love about a certain woman. Oh and by the way all our stories are winners, not only us.
  16. I already thought of the continuation of my story. I think i'll post it fb after the judging.
  17. yes i remember that time when players farm mobs and sell their loot in npc but now all loot costs 1g and mob only drops 2g.. maybe just increase gold drop maybe?
  18. He has slain every villain that threaten the land of Godgorrath and its people. It was now time for him to take the ship. The ship swayed, evading the huge blocks of ice as it moved away from Godgorrath. The large land that he knew looked as large as a pea in the wide ocean. He noticed that the ship was not swaying anymore. The ice has disappeared. The sea is growing warm. Saicreed took his gaze to the white birds that the sailors identify to him as seagulls. It was an eye cure for him from the black crows that flocked the sky of Godgorrath. "Arinar sure is huge," he said to himself. Then a sailor on top of the sail rang the bell and shouted "Irselnort!" The ship docked. It is now time for him to pack up and leave. He carried his staff that he got before leaving Godgorrath. The sound his foot made on the ship's wooden floor was the saddest thing he had heard. He doesn't know why. The sailors unpacked the furs from the ship and wished him luck. Saicreed once more looked at the ship before facing his back to it. The monsters on Irselnort are tougher. His heal was very useful for him and others. He was grateful for any help he could offer on anyone he met. Back in Puma's Village he won't forget his first war. He heard the horns of war and saw the forces of Legion march. He followed them towards lands he has not yet reach to the steppes. He knew he wouldn't be of any help so he decided to be a scout. Scouting a place he hadn't been before was hard. He fled all the monsters chasing him and tried not to encounter them at all for he was too weak to face them. His vision turned red when he saw the army of the Sentinels march over him. Saicreed wouldn't forget that. He couldn't do anything to stop it and the worst he was too late to report the arrival of the enemies. He woke up next to the respawn statue he has bound his soul to. Breathing heavily he rushed towards Scout's Camp with all haste. They must defend it or the Legion will fall. He found himself standing together amongst the strongest warriors of the Legion. For a moment he felt that he was strong too. They failed that time even if they did everything they could. It was an event they must forget, but to Saicreed he will remember it. He managed to grew strong and now facing the last trials to be worthy to be called a son of Berengar. He was at the Camp of Legion that time when a rogue approached him and ask why he doesn't have a guild yet when he was a pretty strong shaman. Saicreed just smiled on him, he didn't answer. He remembered it was a long time when he had joined a guild. He left his previous guilds because he was still weak to offer them help. He would even leave gold and items in their guild storage before leaving. The rogue asked if he wants to join in his guild. It was the first time a guild leader asked him that. He has doubts at first but for some reason he said yes. Little did he know that time that the guild "DeepImpact" the guild he had joined that time would have a deep impact within him. Many will see him bear the guild's title under his name to maps yet unreached, dungeons yet to open and times yet to come. His story will not end as long as Arinar is there. Everyone has a story to tell. How about you, what's your story?
  19. In us-saph elf outnumber mc 3:1 no need to look at statistics just go to dealer and look at how much goods elf side has and by just looking in guild tournament you'll know elf has more ppl. Time to close those elf side registration once again. 😄 Hmm? something just came to my mind. What if dgs and quest will be disabled 20 minutes before war and during war? And maybe a minute before the war all people will be forced teleport on one of the three towns needed to be protected(except those who havent finish the map 1 last quest). It is a bit forced i know so to continue back doing dg or questing you need to end the war by smashing the last enemy flag or either let them smash yours. Trust me this force teleport is good. SAO fans will know.
