Seems most if not all MMos have this 'pay to win/cash shop' built in now. The only way to change their greediness, is for the human gaming population to quit online gaming period. Go out and play baseball or something outdoors. Do this for a year straight and see greedy game devs eating out of dumpsters. But like i said, the ENTIRE Gaming population of players would need to do this. Or you can look at it from another angle. Gaming is now a legalized way of gambling for those under the age of 21. I think it's alot of bullshit that minors can't gamble in casinos, considering they can 'gamble' their/parents money on game goods. Gambling in a casino is actually the preferable method of gambling. Because if you win alot, you can actually buy material goods you can touch, from your winnings. Gambling in a game, aka, amping, you have nothing material to show for it.
