    Warriors of Arinar!

    The time of a long awaited update Warspear Online 6.1 "Power of Relics" has come. Owners of devices with Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows, OS X and Linux - get ready to experience the power of ancient relics and the might of Chaos! This update brings new expert skills, changes of the existing ones, new dynamic events on Irselnort, altered aggression system, as well as relics that will change everything you knew about classes in our game. Read more to learn everything about this major update!

    Before the beginning of time, there was nothing, only the boundless Ocean and primordial Chaos. The White Wanderer banished the darkness with his Light and raised the ground from the bottom of the Ocean, and later it became Arinar. However, the smallest bit of Chaos still remained in Arinar. It tried to break away from this alien world, but failed.

    This bit of Chaos grew, little by little, like a tiny wormhole. Hidden, it had been slowly devouring Arinar from within, and then it started bringing hideous creatures into the world. All their existence had a single goal - to find a way beyond the circles of the world.

    Out of all great magicians living in Arinar only Berengar could take control over the forces of Chaos and imprison them in the depths of Earth under Irselnort. But then Berengar disappeared. Over the past centuries, the protection charms have been gradually becoming weak, until they finally vanished. Now the forces of Chaos will try to break out of its jail once again, threatening all living creatures. Who will stand in their way this time?

    Chaos Invasion
     
       

    Forces of Chaos have awaken on Irselnort and all warriors have a chance to fight the ancient evil and get precious rewards. Chaos Invasion may start at each moment and it starts only after a certain number of the warriors of enemy Alliance are killed. The event consists of three "attacking" stages.

    Berengar's Pylons/Rune stones
     
       

    The pylon appears in one of the five sections on the enemy territory; they are marked with red color on the map. The aim of the attacking Alliance is to find and touch it, and after that powerful monster Morlock appears in one of their camps. To win in this stage you should activate all five pylons and kill all five monster during a certain time period. The aim of the defending Alliance is not to let the enemy activate these pylons. If the attacking Alliance fails, then the roles are changed and the other Alliance starts attacking.  

    Ritual hunt
     
     

    Now, the aim of the attacking Alliance is to get to the squad of Chaos warriors that appeared on the side of the enemy Alliance and to kill one of the warriors, Supreme Huntsman. The defending Alliance has to prevent enemy from doing it during a certain time period. If the attacking Alliance succeeds, then the third stage of the event begins. If it fails, then the Berengar's Pylons stage starts again.

    Last trial
     


    Ancient monster Nab-Shiggurat appears near Nadir-Sard along with guards, the half of which will be allied with your Alliance. The aim of the winner of the previous stage is to kill enemy guards, defend allied ones and beat the main boss during a certain time period. It is quite important to kill enemy guards, because it opens a portal with allied NPC that will help during the fight.

    Rewards

    Everyone who was present in the area of the final battle for at least 30 second gets the rewards for participating in Chaos Invasion.Every player starting from level 2 may get useful effects "Power of Unity" and "Power of Knowledge" that increase the number of Guild Points and Experience Points by 30% during 12 hours.

    Starting from level 14 you also get Nab-Shiggurat's Chest that may contain:
    - Beholder's costume (yep, this unique costume)
    - common enhancing relics (18 types!)
    - Seeker's stamina elixir
    - Unity signs
    - minions
    - gold

    Relics
     
       

    Main feature of this update - relics that allow players to improve any basic skill and make personal builds picking from hundreds of possible combinations. Details about this major feature can be find here.

    Expert skills
     
       

    In this update all characters of all classes that reached level 18 will receive new expert skills. Mostly buffs and debuffs, full information is here.

    Many of existing skills were changed for the sake of allmighty Balance. Description can be seen below. (Mobile users - use full version of our forum if you can't see the details).
     
     
     
    System of aggression

    Existing system of keeping enemy focused on tanks doesn't work as good as it used to in current conditions, hence it needed some serious update. In new version of Warspear Online tanks and taunt skills became way more important and healing skills now also attract monsters. More information is here.   

    Presents

    In honor of this update, all players starting from level 12 will get a Book of Oblivion and each one who reached level 5 - 20 arena tickets. Hooray!  will receive gifts.

    Improvements and hotfixes

    Skills that use character's health. Now using such skills will not interrupt movement.

    Retaliation runes. Damage received after attacking enemy with retaliation runes doesn't interrupt movement any more.

    Chaos potion. Now, during the fight if you are under Chaos potion, there are the same rules as for the usual fight in PvP areas. It concerns aggression levels and the ability (or unability) to use certain skills or to change equipment during the fight.

    Highlighting game window on the taskbar. PC users gather around! If you entered Arena while your game window was minimized - it will start blinking so you won't miss it.

    The crystal with magical damage for double-handed mace was added to the Miracle Shop.

    Настало время грандиозного обновления Warspear Online 6.1 “Сила реликвий”. Владельцы устройств с Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows, OS X и Linux - готовьтесь познать истинную силу древних реликвий и мощь Хаоса! Новые экспертные навыки, ребалансировка старых навыков, новые динамические события на Ирсельнорте, новая система агрессии, а главное – реликвии, которые навсегда изменят представления о навыках в нашей игре.
     
    До начала времён не было ничего, только бескрайний Океан и предначальный Хаос. Подняв со дна Океана земную твердь, ставшую Аринаром, Белый Странник разогнал тьму своим Светом. Однако мельчайшая частица Хаоса всё же осталась в Аринаре. Осознав себя, она попыталась вырваться за грань чуждого себе мира, но не сумела.

    Частица Хаоса, словно крохотная червоточина, росла. Затаившись, она медленно пожирала Аринар изнутри, рождая затем омерзительных созданий. Всё их существование было подчинено единственной цели — найти путь за пределы кругов мира.

    Из всех живших в Аринаре великих чародеев лишь Беренгар смог обуздать силы Хаоса и заточить их в глубине земных недр под Ирсельнортом. Не понаслышке зная, сколь многолик Хаос, Беренгар употребил всё своё искусство, чтобы уравновесить силы. Чародей создал Реликвии — удивительные артефакты, позволяющие сражаться с непредсказуемым Хаосом на равных.

    Но потом Беренгар исчез. За прошедшие столетия охранные чары слабели, пока не истончились окончательно. Теперь силы Хаоса вновь попробуют вырваться из своего узилища, грозя гибелью всему живому. Кто встанет у них на пути в этот раз? Кто осмелится заполучить могущество, заключённое в Реликвиях Беренгара?

    Нашествие Хаоса
     
       

    На острове Ирсельнорт пробудились силы Хаоса и всех воинов ждут новые испытания в борьбе с древним злом и отличные награды. Нашествие Хаоса может начаться в любой момент и зависит это от вас - для этого достаточно убить определенное количество воинов вражеского Альянса, после чего запустится череда заданий, которые делятся на три стадии.

    Пилоны Беренгара/Рунные камни
     
       

    На вражеской территории в одной из пяти отмеченных на карте точек появляется Пилон. Задача атакующего Альянса – найти его и коснуться, после чего в их городе появляется мощный монстр – Морлок. Для победы в этой стадии нужно успеть активировать пять пилонов и убить пять монстров за отведенное время. Задача обороняющейся команды – не давать врагам активировать пилоны. Если атакующие проваливают задание – роли меняются и наступать начинает другой Альянс.   

    Ритуальная охота
     
     

    Теперь задача атакующего Альянса - это добраться до отряда воинов Хаоса, которые появились на стороне вражеского Альянса, и убить одного из воинов, Верховного Ловчего. Обороняющаяся сторона должна помешать им сделать это за определенное время. В случае победы наступающей стороны начинается третья стадия. В случае неудачи наступающей стороны, стадия "Пилоны Беренгара" начинается заново.

    Последнее испытание
     


    Рядом с Надир-Сардом появляется древний монстр Наб-Шиггурат в сопровождении стражников, половина которых будет дружественна вашему Альянсу. Задача победителей прошлой стадии - попытаться убить враждебных стражников, защитить дружественных и победить главного босса за отведенное время. Победа над враждебными стражниками очень важна, так как она откроет портал, из которого появятся союзные NPC, которые помогут в бою.

    Награды

    Награда за участие в Нашествии Хаоса выдается всем, кто находился на поле финальной битвы не меньше 30 секунд.  Каждый игрок, начиная со второго уровня, может получить в награду полезные эффекты «Сила единства» и «Сила знаний», которые на 30% увеличивают количество Очков Гильдии и Очков опыта в течение 12 часов.

    Начиная с 14-го уровня, в награду вы также получите Сокровищницу Наб-Шиггурата, в которой вы сможете найти:

    - Костюм Созерцателя (да-да, именно этот уникальный топовый костюм)
    - Обычные усиливающие реликвии (18 видов!)
    - Эликсиры выносливости искателя
    - Знаки единства
    - Прислужников
    - Золото
    - Расходники

    Главное изменение этого обновления - реликвии, с помощью которых можно улучшать любые базовые навыки персонажей, собирать из сотен вариантов (841 комбинация, если быть точнее) собственные билды и комбинировать умения разных классов. Подробности этого масштабнейшего нововведения подробно описаны здесь.

    Экспертные навыки
     
       

    В этом обновлении персонажи всех классов, которые достигли 18 уровня, получат новые экспертные навыки, для которых также была добавлена 7-я ячейка в меню. В основном это баффы и дебаффы, детали и описания находятся здесь.

    Многие существующие навыки также подверглись серьезным изменениям во имя великого Баланса. Под спойлером — полный список с окончательными изменениями. Мобильные обитатели, у которых спойлер не открывается - переключитесь на полную версию форума через меню.
     


     
    Система агрессии

    Существующая система удерживания врагов плохо работает в новых условиях, поэтому ей понадобилась масштабная переделка. В новой версии Warspear Online выросла роль танков и навыков агрессии, а заклинания лечения теперь привлекают монстров так же, как и урон. Подробности о новой системе, и том как ее использовать, можно прочитать здесь.

    Подарки

    В честь этого масштабнейшего обновления все игроки, начиная с 12-го уровня, получат в подарок Книгу Забвения, а все, кто достиг 5-го и выше - 20 билетов на Арену. Ура!

    Исправления и улучшения

    Навыки, расходующие здоровье. Теперь, при использовании таких навыков, персонаж не будет останавливаться на месте.

    Урон от руны возмездия. Возвращенный урон, который вы получали при атаке персонажа с руной Возмездия, больше не останавливает вас.  

    Зелье хаоса. Теперь во время боя под эффектом зелья Хаоса применяются те же правила, что и для обычного боя на PvP-локациях. Это касается уровней агрессии и (не)возможностью использовать определенные навыки/менять экипировку во время боя.

    Подсветка приложения в панели задач. Теперь в ПК-версии игры появилось оповещение при попадании на Арену, когда игра свернута. Игра будет яростно мигать и вы не пропустите бой.
     
    В Лавку Чудес добавлен кристалл с магическим уроном для двуручной булавы.

    Warriors of Arinar!

    The Warspear Online 6.1 update will be available next week and will bring new expert skills, significant changes in already existing ones, an improved aggression system, new dynamic events, as well as several further major changes. We'll cover some of them right now, but the information on the most interesting of these will only be available with the update.

    New expert skills

    The new delivery of expert skills is all about buffs and debuffs. All of them are active and are very useful in current gaming conditions. Exact numbers and even names will be provided after testing but there is already much to discuss.

    Paladin
    Protection of light. Increases physical and magical defense of all members of the group for a certain percentage during a certain time period. As the skill is upgraded, its effectiveness and duration increase.

    Mage
    Ennoblement. Dismisses all negative effects including control effects and allows to ignore them for a certain period of time. As the skill is upgraded, its duration increases.

    Priest
    Exacting burden. Slowly decreases enemy speed for a certain percentage for 5 seconds. After using Armistice on slowed down enemy units, the enemy will be stunned for some time. As the skill is upgraded, its effectiveness and stun duration increase.

    Ranger
    Bow kick. Ranger hits the target with a melee attack, stunning it. With the skill upgrading, stun duration and inflicted damage increase. The damage also depends on the physical stregth and level of the character.

    Druid
    Healing barrier. Creates a magical barrier around a character or ally that consumes certain amount of damage and restores the same amount of health. As the skill is upgraded, its effectiveness and duration increase.
     
    Blade Dancer
    Hurricane of thrusts. Increases attack and cooldown speed for a certain percentage during a certain time period. With the skill upgrading, its effectiveness and duration increase.

    Barbarian
    Barbarian’s nature. Barbarian ignores debuffs and effects of control for some time. As the skill is upgraded, its duration increases.

    Shaman
    Earth Strength. Increases the amount of health of a character or ally for a certain percentage during a particular time period. With the skill upgrading, its effectiveness and duration increase.

    Rogue
    Subtle thrust. Rogue hits the enemy dealing physical damage and decreasing the enemy defense for a certain percentage during a particular time period. With the skill upgrading, its effectiveness, duration and the inflicted damage increase. The damage also depends on the physical stregth and level of the character.

    Death Knight
    Aura of hatred. Increases physical and magical damage of the Death Knight and his defense against physical and magical attacks for some time. As the skill is upgraded, its effectiveness and duration increase.

    Warlock
    Withering. Decreases enemy’s movement speed for a certain amount of time. Using the Pool of Darkness on a slowed down enemy also stuns him for some time. As the skill is upgraded, its effectiveness and duration, as well as stun duration, increase.

    Necromancer
    Dark force. Increases the magical and physical damage inflicted by the group for a certain percentage during a particular time period. With the skill upgrading, its effectiveness and duration increase.
     
    Information for new players. Access to expert skills opens when you reach level 18. You can buy desired skillbooks in the Libraries of Arinar.
     
       

    The aggression system

    The existing mechanics have been completely altered. The way in which skills worked previously was the following: you use a skill, it gives a certain amount of aggression plus the aggression from the damage from the tank. After the skill effect expires, the aggression is removed as well. It’s all different now.

    All damage inflicted on an enemy during the skill effect will get a so-called “agro-bonus”. For example, a tank renders 1000 damage, but a mob receives 3000 aggression. After the effect finishes, this aggression will only partially disappear. To draw the boss away, tank teammates will have to inflict more damage than the tank alone with the skill bonus.
    It will allow tanks to make themselves the highest-priority target of enemy attacks, as long as the effect works and not to lose the enemies right after the effect has finished. The system works the same with single and non-single aggression skills.

    Despite the fact that effectiveness of tanks in terms of keeping the mobs attention has increased, other players are still able to distract them from a tank. That's why it is necessary to keep an eye on how much damage and healing they provide. Yes, that's right. According to new mechanics, active healers may also make themselves the target of boss attacks.
    There is one more interesting feature, aggression decline. If you fight a boss within a party and at some point stop attacking him or healing your teammates, after some time your aggression will fall to zero. Technically, you'll be out of a fight, thus being able to use items that are unavailable during a fight, as well as changing equipment, etc., even if the rest of the party continues fighting.
