  1. Death Knight is what you want. They're really good at surviving but also can do damage. They're not full tanks, like Barbarian, but not full attack either, like Rogue. There are like blade dancers and whatnot, too, but playing Chosen/Firstborn is surely a form of mental illness.
  2. If I understand how Fateful Connection works, it's a very good skill, but mostly against very specific opponents. 5x5 and 3x3 arena and certain multiple mob boss encounters. Maybe I should go for 1145+2. Maximizing especially energy regen so I can outlast enemies with shield/heal. What bugs me about playing support is the loot drop logic. Apparently, as a support chararcter, I'll never get to loot the big bosses.
  3. Hi! I've a level 14 necromancer and in a couple of levels, I'm gonna have to start thinking about my options as a full support caster. Right now I have 5 Bone Shield and Heal, obviously. Poison Spittle I won't upgrade, because there's no need for the extra few damage on a support character. Why cause more damage when my friends and I can just outlive everything? So that brings us back to the question, should I upgrade nightmares (for the random times I might go arena), evil eye (for high-end hunts) or the expert skill? I mostly hunt, but my guild isn't very active and I rarely seem to be getting a chance at the more demanding bosses. So, I'm looking for a balanced, all-around full support build. Thanks in advance on your opinions.
  4. Thanks. I just entered the game and was never asked anything - didn't think twice about it. Damn shame if I have to throw away a week's worth of efforts.
  5. I played on the default one.
  6. I tried logging in today and the client asked for my account information. I have no idea what that is - I've never had to fill the form before. Where could I find this information? I'd hate to lose my characters!
  7. The attached promo picture is absolutely hilarious. And I think this is a great idea overall! Gratz BR players for your own joint!
  8. Thanks everyone. As if by incident, I've met a bunch of nice people over the course of the day and have had some luck and fun. I invite anyone to add Caireann or Carapace as their friend, too. And if someone needs the help of a derpy Éireannach healer or a ridiculously persistent undead, just give me a shout.
  9. Thanks guys. I haven't really made up my mind on which server to use, but for now, I want to focus on playing in the Mountain Clan and Forsaken factions. I want to see the whole story of course, so I suppose I'll make a ranger in the future. Get the whole set, you know, Healer, Tank, Ranged/Damage. Query 1: Can a character be moved from server to another? Query 2: What's the best use for Miracle Coins? Query 3: Can the odds and ends looted from monsters, such as rat tails or dragon sphincters, be sold to some merchant for more than 1 gold piece? Not that I'd had had much use for gold so far, but I suppose I'll be needing a lot of it later on.
  10. Hey everyone. I started playing on Monday and I've made a level 11 healing shaman called Caireann on EU Emerald and a level 7 tanking death knight called Carapace on US Sapphire. Why I switched servers was due to communication problems on EU; turns out they persist on US as well. I've noticed that more often than not, there's a clear language barrier. So, it's been a rather lonely and long-winded journey so far. Now I was hoping I could maybe make some friends that I could stick around! Perhaps a fresh clan that could use the maybe thousand or two guild points I make a week? The thing I'd really want is someone to talk to while playing and perhaps to help me clear those bosses that are cramping my style. Anyway, I'm enjoying the game very much so far and I think I'll be sticking around a while. Happy hunting! Tin-Plate Marie
