Mercurry reacted to Morgana in Hi All
Aww seems like my part of welcoming all new players got stolen
Welcome to Arinar!
To be a bit more specific about what happens after all quests and to understand the game a bit better:
As you probably have already noticed, you were able to choose between 4 different factions when you created your first hero. Those factions are
1. Firstborn (Elves)
2. Chosens
3. Forsaken
4. Mountain Clan (short Mc)
Each two of those sections build one alliance.
The first alliance is Firstborn & Chosens. That alliance is called Sentinels.
The second alliance is Forsaken & MC. This one is called Legion.
So basically on Warspear those two alliances fight each other, so Sentinels vs. Legions.
Questline and Maps:
The questline is the same for all 4 factions. But take care, don't confuse it with the storyline!! The storyline is different for all.
When you create a new hero, I will take as example a Firstborn, you will start on the Island of the Firstborns. All factions have its own Island to start on and to level up a bit before the "real" game starts.
The faction maps have five towns which you will be lead through on your long way of questing and leveling up. If you level up without experience potions etc. then you will be done with the first map when you are at lv12/13. Once you have finished all quests there, you will be lead to a second map called Irselnort - The Ashcoast.
On the Ashcoast you can meet all other factions. And since the game is Sentinels vs. Legions, Legion players will pop up with red name on your screen. They will be able to attack you and you will be able to attack them. However, the towns of Legions and Sentinels are far away from each other, so at the first 2-3 towns you don't have to worry a lot to meet the enemy alliance.
On the Ashcoast are in total 11 towns, 5 are Legion, 5 are Sentinel and the last one is called Nadir, which is kinda in the middle between Legions and Sentinels. It also is a neutral area, means both alliances can't attack each other.
I guess that's all you have to know so far. Of course there are many more things to do and if you have any questions feel free to come and ask
If you ever wonder why you see so less players on the Ashcoast, at the moment there is the Halloween event which has a seperated map and most of the players are there. And when the event is over many players also go to a map called Ayvondil which you will be able to enter too. But you have to finish all Ashcoast quests first before you will be able to get any quests there.

Agreed I used to be able to solo bosses on 2nd island with new dodge skill 4/4, now its harder, depends on luck.
Rogue really needs the dodge skill

Mercurry reacted to Morgana in Warspear is only resilience and ferocity
He has a point though, Life Steal and Ferocity was a bad invention and destroyed stats and skill playing a lot :/ As well as the ability to use axes for Rogues and Bds.
(Ain't the only one saying that)
@Maggott666 If I understood you correctly, you would rather have arena gear for the certain classes which supports their strength and skills e.g. as you said for rogues, dodge?

Mercurry reacted to Akasha in Suggest: Put Back Hide Equipment option !
In my opinion, this option must exist. I enjoyed more the time when my opponents didn't have access to my Achilles' heel, nobody used to take care of my equips, and it was very depressive to players feeling indirectly coerced to spend money or soffer prejudgement. The game has lost part of the "magic" when they added inspection. if someone wants be sure that you've decent equips for DG, you can enable the inspect tool whenever you need and show your equips for few seconds or all the time according to your convenience.

Mercurry reacted to Kelvzs in [2016.11.01] Game servers stop on 02.11
At least make Entrance of Valdemar Castle a Safezone, Cause Elves blocked the door. can't enter.

Mercurry reacted to Ninja Owl in Transfer Scroll and more
Each suggestion is great in a player friendly way but go against AIGRIND's (supposed) monetization methods.

Mercurry reacted to Daria in Worth playing without Miracle coins?
Superstitions, huh? With the same result you can farm with a horseshoe in one hand, with a rabbit foot in the other, with a four-leaf clover crown on your head and don't forget to regularly break plates between going to dungeons.

Mercurry got a reaction from nabnecro in Life seals
Is it just me or are the Life seals in the Temple of seals arena the most stupid thing ever?
You can play well, beat those +10 parties but they will just use seals over and over until they kill you. I knew this game is p2w but I didn´t know its that bad....
I´d suggest completly removing them.
-
Mercurry got a reaction from Pecleb in Life seals
I'm still convinced the best way to balance it would be completly removing them.
-
Mercurry reacted to Raislin in Life seals
I approve. As ppl have stated maybe not remove them completely, but changing seal res from full hp to half and natural res to full would be a pretty good change.
-
Mercurry reacted to Ninja Owl in A seasonal server
Like Azebu suggested, make it P2P and there'll be no need for miracle shop.
-
Mercurry reacted to Gladiator in Life seals
Totally fully completely agreed.
Arena is already a win for the +10er but at least sometimes, sometimes you and your team play way better than them and kill them until they start spamming life seals.
#makeitlessp2w
Possibilities:
1- Waiting 20 seconds gives you full HP and using Seal gives you 50%. instantly reviving is an enough advantage for the Seal user.
Sometimes the one team kills the second with only 1 survivor left, and maybe 3 with around 10% HP left for each, then you see 3 full HP coming to you again then they camp spawn areas. Completely unfair.
2- Completely remove and decrease the waiting time (10-15 seconds) to enable fair comebacks.
3- Drastically increase the prices so that using so many in one fight isn't profitable.

Rogues completely nerfs..
Taking a lot more damage than before, and depending dodge to win pvp and horrive and Poisonous Blade 25s = 3 hit BAD !! Some rogues do not use equipment with dodges full, we must completely change the way of playing? -
Mercurry got a reaction from Paritus in Bladedancer : The Mighty Unbalanced Hero

Mercurry reacted to Kaleidoscope in This needs to be fixed !
If you're a player who really wants to put in effort in a game then you won't quit.
But it's true, a lot of ppl quit cause of the 1st isle being fustrating. And
also a lot of ppl complain about it being P2W but it isn't. Even if,
it's not that hard to invest a few bucks.
