    For those that are interested Purify Formula = 2*char lvl +20*purify lvl +[(1.1+(purify lvl*0.05)]Damage Example level 20 paladin with 500 damage with level 5 purify Purify Damage = 2*20 +20*5 +[1.35]500 = 815 Thanks for reading Barge
  4. for people that are wondering whether to choose 5heal3purify or 3heal5purify purify per skill point loss compared to 5purify =[damage(.05)+20] heal per skill point loss compared to 5heal =[magic(0.1)+10+char lvl(0.5)] assuming you have +10arena spear 577 damage and 240 magic for a level 20 paladin thats 97.7 damage loss or 88 heal loss (without aura) for the 2 points of choosing between purify and heal. its a personal choice and for me i prefer the 5heal 3purify thank you
  5. yes. i do save up the arena points to buy gears with all those lost matches, especially when one does not have any decent gear to begin with. im sure there are a lot of others who does this.
  6. not getting any loot for level 22 on easy or normal i enjoy doing easy solo even if that took 5 stams. its the closest thing to grinch dungeon you guys should really look into providing the "forever alone" dungeon that was promised some time ago.
  7. to the guys that won 95% previously you guys now complained cause you are getting more losses than wins. so i assume its somewhere between 49% to 5% wins making an average of 27% wins for calculations' sake, though i believe you guys get way better than that. so putting that into a table in the past = 95% win now = 27% win average all time win ratio = 61% wins its still a good ratio, at least its still better than your opponents previous abysmal 5% win anyway, warlocks are still op to paladins due to the circle, fear and the new skill cools which ensure that pala has no chance in using the foj.
  8. i was thinking with all those additional damage skills all classes seem to have, why dont we increase the hp of all classes as we seem to die so easily (at least i do) now just so that arena matches could last a bit longer? ::)
  9. of course lvl5aura and lvl5heal would have a higher amount :) and (lvl5heal lvl1aura) is better than (lvl5aura lvl1heal) in terms of heal amount if want to spend only 4 points. thanks
  10. i think this thread will become too boring if its all just a one sided opinion, so here are some points just to make it a little more exciting -pala is still has the lowest hp of all tank classes. -like the pros that has won against the pala team, they baited for the banner and moved out of the way, its much like how elfs played against warlocks to bait for the circle. -have you tried killing a shaman or warlock or druid with a pala? with the skill cools its still impossible to get close with the foj as the stun cycle is never ending. ie circle,fear, runs to warlock who kites, circle, fear again and again. -someone said they won 95% of the time in the past, and now its more losses than wins. is it now 49% win and 51% loss? anyway, unless u got 5% wins and 95% loss which was what your arena opponents have been eating all the time in the past, why did you not complain when your opponents were getting only 5% wins? -pala has the same magical defense like any other class in that its also from rings and amulets. ::)
  11. let me try and breakdown barb charge and dk thread a bit barb charge 1) the character blinks to the enemy 2) dice is then rolled to see if stun works on the enemy dk thread 1) the enemy is pulled to the dk 2) stun is applied no matter what, the first part of the skill will work regardless of the second part. so the best you could say about them is partial failure when 2) does not work but 1) did. the barb/dk could then start doing damage after that with all their other skills and in dk case, arena party could start ganking the victim even if that victim uses stun on the dk. paladin foj 1) stun (but enemy can still attack) if that 1) fails then the whole skill fails. see the difference?
  12. perhaps you havent seen a failed foj. here are just some of the reasons, perhaps there are more reason 1) bugged position- it happens just like shamans earthquake where the foj was used but nobody was affected even though they were right next to the paladin. reason 2) the enemy stunned the paladin at exactly the same time the foj was used - happens to me alot, warlock fear especially. and the foj will fire off harmlessly even though the opponent is right next to him as well so there you have it, foj does fail too. its not as good as you say it and the paladin gotta brave through all the attacks using slowmo walking method just to get close to the enemy to have a shot at using it whilst every other melee class could use their respective skills at range.
  13. just a few cents without the banner paladins have always been the "punching bags of arinar", "warlocks' toys", "kiters' favorite opponent" etc and gets bullied around till death. paladins is also the only melee class that does not have a way to close in on the opponent unlike barb charge, rogue stealth/jump, bd rush, dk thread. this is the skill that redeems the paladin class from being worthless

    Heavy Armor

    i like it, but just like any D&D games where wearing heavy armor significantly increases the difficulty in making a successful hide attempt, the skill stealth would also be disabled. i mean think about it: how could a plate armor wearing rogue with all those metal parts which produces a full array of clanky sounds ever get someone to not notice him when he tries to hide? thanks

    ah, the beginner days i remember selling quest items like the non-personal potions and ales just to get a bit more gold. and i sold my outdated equips on the market too.another tip would be to watch out for the lvl8 harmony crystals or magic power crystals for staffs (if you are cloth class) from the daily chests, they would fetch a bit if you bought some cheap lvl 9 or 10 item and enchanting them with it and reselling them at a higher price, through the market. this would work too for other enchants using the same idea. in the end when i finished the 1st ilse (chosen) i had about 10k gold. its not that bad if you tried to save money and not dying too often like the others said.
