Incipit: Totem (Here Beggineth...) Lost. I was lost, but not in time or space, but in my own thoughts. I was fully aware of my existence, but unable to project the slightest trace of emotion; there was a barrier in my being that chained me. However, I did not care. Looking down and looking at my left hand, I found a sword, and in that instant, I understood my purpose. So I waited. I was not alone. Around me stood others like me, armed with shields, bows and arrows, static in the silence. But there was one who was different and answered to the name of Brutalist. Looking at him, a profound respect flooded me, I felt the irre…

"Hey... do you remember where it all started?" The question appeared in world chat one quiet evening. Most players ignored it. Some were too busy chasing endgame gear, others were rushing dailies across lands that didn't even exist when we first stepped into Arinar. But for a moment, I stopped moving. My character stood still. And my eyes drifted across the world map. Back to where it all began. Back to Firstborn. Firstborn wasn't just an island. It was home. Back then we didn't know about Ayvondil, Almahad, talents, relic combinations, mythic dungeons, or whatever complicated systems existed today. All we knew was t…

The following events took place two years ago, I will never forget it. ꧁ ꧂꧁ ꧂꧁꧂ Stepping back on the world of Arinar in my old and worn out gears has been both a new and nostalgic feeling to me at the same time. I have disappeared for about three years in game, yet despite playing here for straight five years— the three years that I was gone was enough to make me a stranger. Viewing every player's info and inspecting them feels like solving a puzzle. It made me ask questions to myself. "Have I met this player before? Did this player change its name?" I was saddened by the truth that they have forgotten me and I have forgott…

Background This story takes place in 2020. It's a story about a noble sacrifice that allowed my young mage to leave the shores of Irselnort for the vast forests of Ayvondil. At that point, I already had a level 32 death knight, but I had never truly played in any other server than the EU-Emerald. Led by my curiosity, I started leveling my low-level mage that was in the US-Sapphire server. It was like starting the game as a new player as I was completely alone in the new server. All the player and guild names there were weird to me and even the used abbreviations were different. A new character in the EU-Emerald would have the resources of older characters at h…

The Roads of Arinar Prologue - When a World Becomes a Memory There are worlds we enter only for a short while, just to pass the time, and then forget like a brief dream. There are games we once loved, games we spent countless hours in, yet when we look back years later, we only remember a few items, a few bosses, or a few victories and defeats that have slowly lost their shape. But there are also worlds that are different. At first, they are only small images on a screen, familiar sounds, quest texts, and maps connected by roads, towns, forests, caves, and battlefields. Yet the longer we stay, the more we begin to realize that we are no longer simply “playin…

Long ago, someone shared with me the tales of Arinar — a world filled with beauty, ancient secrets, and countless mysteries waiting to be uncovered. Those stories ignited my curiosity and drew me into an adventure of my own in Warspear Online Thus, my journey began. Prologue: The Story Begins I never imagined myself as one of the chosen. I was born as an ordinary human, possessing no remarkable powers or abilities. In the world of Arinar, that was a common fate shared by almost everyone—at least, by those who were human. In this peaceful yet quiet city, my journey began in 2024. Little did I know that th…

1. My First Journey My character was born in Firstborn, and I chose the Blade Dancer class from the five available classes. My adventure began by completing all the quests that I could handle on my own. Thanks to the rewards provided by the game, it was possible to complete almost every quest, defeat bosses, and even clear dungeons solo on Firstborn Island. By the time I finished my journey there, my level had increased from 1 to 13. 2. Meeting the Other Faction After finishing the main questline on Firstborn, I was sent to Irselnort Island. Like the first island, the main quests followed a similar pattern through several camps, although the bosses were much …

Warspear Online A world of wonders. A realm unlike any other. A realm that reveals itself only to those who long for it. This is the tale of my journey and adventures, beginning in the year 2025. Chapter I I was faced with four choices: Humans, Elves, Barbarians, and the Undead. Where did I truly belong? Almost immediately, I chose the Elves. For some reason, they gave me a sense of peace beautiful, elegant, and enchanting. After that, I was presented with five more options. Before me stood five characters, each radiating strength and courage. There was the Blade Dancer, a warrior wielding two…

The year was 2015. Armed with nothing but a physical-keyboard Nokia E63 Symbian phone and a thirst for adventure, I stumbled upon a pixelated masterpiece on the internet: Warspear Online. Intrigued by the shadows, I instantly created a Rogue. There was something magical about the ability to vanish into thin air, and I was hooked. My journey began smoothly as I followed the NPCs' guidance, but the real baptism of fire happened at my first dungeon. Arriving at the entrance, I saw a crowd of players. I tried speaking to them, but my text bubbles were met with absolute silence. Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, everyone vanished. “Where did they go? Is this the le…
