Pixel 2 Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 Reached lvl 24 a couple of days back and upgraded my weapons to make decent damage. My damage overcomes tank's agro during boss fights and I have no clue what to do. I tried waiting till the boss's hp was at 85%-90% but the tank still didnt obtain enf threat to hold agro and I got beat on. Thankfully the healers started healing me after they saw me spamming hp potions. What am I doing wrong? Btw this was my first boss fight (Kronus dg). Morgana 780 Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 There is nothing you are doing wrong As Gladiator has already said, the tank should use its aggro skill/skills constantly to keep the boss from attacking the support classes (healers, damagers). Pecleb 62 Posted March 9, 2017 Share Posted March 9, 2017 exactly. Too many tanks think agro skill has to be used only when their teammates are under attack. This is a mistake, u just have to use constant agro, it works very fine. with my lvl 7 dk was doing dg with a lvl 28 shaman: no problem to agro boss even with 1/5 agro and like 10 times less dmg than him (+healing agro) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mecha 118 Posted March 10, 2017 Share Posted March 10, 2017 I've had lv5 taunt since before the new aggro system. I was able to hold full aggro of bosses using only a shield and mace while +10 rogues went all out. But now its even easier for a tank to do his job with the new aggro system.
