TheQuestion 21
Hello everyone! it's been a long time since I've been on this forum and so i'd like to make my return by suggesting a cool new feature that can be added into the game.... Commanding Allied NPC's! How it works its very simple, a player who is near a group of NPC's has the chance to be able to control them to help him and his team in battle. This is done through a simple interaction between the player and the NPC, then the player is able to make the NPC attack something near its region. *images below for illustration* The Player see's the ability to control the leader and his group (the swords icon): The Player Interacts with the NPC: The Player choose what he wants the NPC to attack: *more scenarios attached* Requirements Some requirements can be: 1. The NPC must be the leader of a group or a prominent figure. (meaning you cant just click some random ally and make it attack something) 2. To gain the ability: - the player must be in allegiance with that NPC's faction -a certain amount of quests revolving around that ally must be completed to gain control -the player must have a certain amount of reputation with a specific allied faction Benefits and Future Implementations I reckon something like this can have a wide variety of be benefits in the game, both in PvP and PvE scenarios. such a feature can help in finishing quests, battling mobs/enemies, going through dungeons, aiding the Capturing Territories Event, and so much more. it can really add some new tactical strategies players can use to defeat an enemy/boss/dungeon etc!. some future things to add (if it actually is added in the game) could be: - make the NPC stand on a specific spot, not just attack something - an option to follow the player. the NPC follows the player within the bounds of that map. the NPC cannot leave its location. - heal the player ( if the NPC has that ability) - The NPC can request gold for assistance(but just make it a few of them please :/) much much more can also be done with this but right now, that's all I can think of! _ So yeah, that's it. at the moment I only have screenshots of potential NPC's from irelsnort but ill be going to other maps like Norlant Swamps and Ayvondil as well to find more. Let me know what you all think, Constructive Feedback and Advice is appreciated .

Gladiator 1145
NPC = NON-Playing Character. Another point is people who have a quest from a certain NPC, wouldn't be able to begin, continue, or finish the quest, as long as the NPC is fighting, which would eventually lead people to just abuse this feature to ''annoy'' others with it. For helping in bosses, quests, and dungeons (I don't also get how would NPCs enter dung), we have minions. TheQuestion 21
molotow I reckon it could be useful through the benefits I've listed and however devs may decide to add it i guess ^^ Glaadiator NPC= Non-player character Most npcs are still interactable even if they are busy attacking an enemy etc. And the implementation is for mobs who are not necessarily used but allies of a faction (eg, vestmar, black mage"screenshots") They dont enter dungeon, they can be found in certain areas of a dungeon if the developers decide to do so. There are npcs in the kronus area and other maps which just go about doing random things and getting themselves killed. Controlling them can give players an upper hand. It is similar yet different to minions as these offer a more intimate control, you cannot just use one of them, they are not simply summoned but must be earned, they also could not be as wasteful in the capturing territories event or others to come. Either way, i get this feature in this game is borderline betweek gimicky and useful but hey, I thought it was cool and then impulse took over . I'd still love to see it in the game someeddayy^^
